If OLTL were continuing on ABC, I think having Victor AND Todd would have been amazing. Given the circumstances - including TSJ's decision to leave - there was very little the writers could do. Victor would never just pack up and leave. If he left town, Tea, Jack, Dani, would have likely gone with him. There was no way to write an exit aside from muder. And have to say two things about this:

1.) It's a fitting end. He was a great character and he's going out with a bang. (I think who ABC/OLTL disrespected was SH, having Marty murder Dr. Buhari, stab Kelly, push Nat off the roof, and that ridiculous "Patrick?" running-to-a-plane bullshit)

2.) This is one murder mystery that may actually be exciting with Todd, Brody, Shane, Rex, Irene, perhaps others, as suspects.
