I didn't like Marissa in this episode. She all of a sudden seemed desperate.

Yeah me neither, it just seemed more forced than natural. I wish the story had more time to build, but they are working on borrowed time and all But still it was just bizarre.

As others ave said HPV usually takes a long time to show any symptoms, aside from warts with some people but I really don't want to think of any AMC characters havign genital warts... (And often it doesn't show symptoms in men at all--but it's a pretty broad disease with many strains). I have to admit that twist completely took me by surprise, regardless. And as kinda icky a story as it is, it has at least added a somewhat interesting and more topical twist to the expected "who's the babby daddy" story.

I liked the episode a lot--I love the new Liza, even if it was handled very quickly, as others have said, we are on borrowed time here. I agree Marissa's sudden anxiety around Bianca was played ever so slightly too high strung.

(I don't want to jump into the big JR stuff on here but I think the way he's being written right now makes perfect sense and is more in character than he's been in a while).
