SOD Makes a list of "Ten Brands That Will Die in 2012"

Can anyone who knows about this stuff tell me if it's cheaper if magazines revert from being weekly to being bi-monthly? Or coming out once a month? I wonder if SOD should just put out one issue a month, with better content and a higher price.

I also think if these magazines had more nostalgia features, or a nostalgia-only feature, they might get more interest. Not from the billionaire 18 year olds they all chase after, but from people who might be willing to pay more.
