Yeah, but wouldn't a double be able to learn all those things from her autobiography and press clippings. And it didn't seem like Erica was telling him or her anything they already didn't know. I do think a double is a possibility, but my money's on Caleb right now. Maybe they realized that Michael Nouri as a viable leading man for Lucci just wasn't working out, and that this was the only way to make dull old Caleb interesting and to salvage the character.

I'm starting to think its him also, whoever it is actually cares about erica and wants personal insights in her life. Its like they don't know her, but want to know her and kidnapping her is the only way. Vanessa, faux silver, jonathan kinder wouldn't give a damn about that.

I think you're misreading the situation. They just want to know as much as possible

so the doppleganger won't mess up and say something stupid.
