I had dinner with Cady (long story) this summer when she was in NYC. The red actually looked dramatically better in real life. I think it played off her skin tone beautifully. We were sweltering hot and sweaty too at the Basin Cafe on the West Side of NYC. She brought her beloved Mr.Peanut with her.

I still think the nadir was her page boy cut in the 90s (though I dunno if the pixie dixie cut was better or not...)

Mr Peanut is a pet, I'm hoping here... (though if Cady carried with her a stuffed peanut figure, or anything similar, I think I might find that kinda wonderfully camp).
