Members dannigold
Does it mean anything that Rick Draughn and Chrstopher Dunn swapped places in the end credits?
Administrator Toups Posted August 29, 2011 Author Administrator Share Posted August 29, 2011 Sort of. The way DAYS do their credits is that they list who arrives first/last from top to bottom. For example, in the SW section Janet Iacobuzio will always be listed below John Newman and the Cullitons (unless of course she's the script writer for that day, then she's after the "&"). Same thing with the the breakdown writers: Draughon was there before Ford, Ford before Seidman, Seidman before Poteet Lisanti. But when Dunn arrived, he was listed ahead of Draughon which means he had "more power" or "more duties" than the other breakdown writers.
Members dannigold
Thanks for the info. Do we know when Greg and Noel will be named exec producers on the credits?
Administrator Toups Posted August 30, 2011 Author Administrator Share Posted August 30, 2011 I don't think that info is out there, so let's do some guessing! - DAYS tapes 1 episode from Mon-Thur and then 3 episodes on Friday for a total of 7 episodes a week. - Alison Sweeney's episode as director aired on Monday, August 1 which was taped on Monday, May 9. - DAYS was dark during the week of May 30-June 3. - News of Tomlin's firing was leaked on Wednesday June 8, so let's assume Tuesday June 7 as Tomlin's last day at the studio (and let's assume last day at studio=last day in the credits and dismiss the possible "contractual dates") So from Monday, May 9 to Friday, May 27, a total of 21 episodes were produced + the 2 episodes produced on Monday June 6 and Tuesday June 7, for a total of 23 episodes. Then counting 23 episodes from Monday, August 1 lands us on Wednesday, August 31 for Tomlin's last episode. Therefore, Maxam/Meng's first episode as Co-EPs should be on Thursday, September 1.......or around there.......so probably somewhere between Aug 31 - September 9. Members skiman12082004
So I am watching the closing credits for OLTL. When did Mary-Kelly Weir become a Producer for the show? Is this a recent development?
Administrator Toups Posted September 14, 2011 Author Administrator Share Posted September 14, 2011 DAYS - Nancy Williams Watt first listed as Associate Head Writer on September 13 I knew she left DAYS after Tomlin was fired, but didn't know she moved to OLTL. Interesting! Thanks for the update - I haven't checked OLTL's closing credits in a while. And it looks like Sonia Blangiardo is also back at OLTL as a Producer. Can someone possibly check ABC.com (are they still showing episodes online?) for when Mary-Kelly Weir and Sonia were first listed in the credits? Administrator Toups Posted September 14, 2011 Author Administrator Share Posted September 14, 2011 Since June, I think. Her first credited episode was today.

Administrator Toups Posted September 14, 2011 Author Administrator Share Posted September 14, 2011 Thanks! And I have the credits from August 23 episode, so the changes happened between August 24-Sept 6 (by any chance did anyone save these episodes on DVR?). Also, John Turmino is no longer listed as Producer.
