Members JAS0N47
Jason47's Interviews: Stella & Roger Lombard: Two Decades Later Catching Up with Elaine Bromka & Mark Drexler http://www.jason47.com In 1992, the Lombard family moved to Salem. Roger, the husband, was an alcholic who ended up doing therapy and developing a crush on his therapist, Dr. Marlena Evans. Roger's wife, Stella, became enraged when she thought Roger and Marlena were having an affair. She ended up kidnapping Marlena and holding her hostage in a pit. Before Marlena could be rescued, Stella ended up being hit by a car and dying. Now, almost 20 years later, Elaine Bromka (Stella) & Mark Drexler (Roger) remember their time in Salem, and update fans on what they've been up to since leaving "Days." Members DRW50
Great interviews. Drexler looks better now (or in that headshot, whenever it's from) than he did on DAYS. I've always liked Elaine Bromka - she's one of those actress you recognize but are never sure from where. It's great to hear how much she was committed to the show and to the character and that she remained friends with Deirdre Hall. So who was the writer before Reilly? I wonder what his plans for the story were. I guess the pit thing was Reilly's first of the big shocking stories he liked to do.
Members darraholic
Sheri Anderson. I just started watching DAYS during this time. One of my first memories was Stella taunting Marlena in the pit and Roger running down Shane & Kimberly with his car.
Administrator Toups Posted December 10, 2010 Administrator Share Posted December 10, 2010 Thanks, Jason! Marlena eating turkey is one of my first DAYS memories. LOL the bloopers. "The turkey the recipe!!!" Carl, Sheri Anderson wrote the pit storyline, not Reilly.
