GH Casting News: James Franco and Khary Payton arrive in PC

Franco basically delivered the same hambone OTT performance on 30 Rock as on GH. I think it's more about him than it is demeaning the soap. I think he means well, but his schtick as "that crazy actor James Franco, what will he do next?" is a bit tired. He's a better actor than that RL performance art he is attempting, and it just comes off pretentious.

I thought they had a good idea with his GH character but it's been executed so poorly. I thought he did fine at first.
