Interesting article underpinning the role of religious or moral ethics in daytime soap operas. While that moral line has most definitely blurred over the past decade or two, the author's conclusion still stands.

I also liked how she pointed out that shows like True Blood are an indication of the success of serial drama in general. It's not... the most "Christian" and family-friendly show on the dial, is it.
