Brittany Snow Joins!

Brittany Snow has landed a lead on David E. Kelley's NBC dramedy pilot "Kindreds," while Sarah Wynter has joined ABC's dramedy pilot "Cutthroat."

"Kindreds" follows a curmudgeonly former patent lawyer and her group of misfit associates at a storefront law firm. Snow, repped by ICM and Brillstein, will play her assistant and a key member of the firm.

"Cutthroat" centers on Nina Cabrera (Sanchez), an upscale Beverly Hills widow and soccer mom who runs an international drug cartel.

Wynter, repped by Paradigm and Mosaic, will play a Hollywood mom whose life is in shambles.

More legal shows from Kelley? He has remade the same show for decades now. The only difference is he is now more into wacky drama.

What else did you expect, Carl? :D I said here that with Boston Legal I hated the first 5-10 minutes, but ended up amused and loving it.

However, often it was too much.

That's what his fans want, that's what he delivers.

So much for original programming. I'm not talking the DEK project, I'm talking the Weeds rip-off, Cutthroat.

Congrats to Brittany Snow, though. Too bad that Gossip Girl spin-off didn't work out, the one where she played teen Lily in the 80s. Lily
