Agnes Nixon Primetime Soap Mystery

We seem to be on Agnes overload here at the moment, but in my research of the lady,I have come across a reference to an ABC primetime soap called 'Beggars and Choosers'.It was reported around March 77 that Agnes was behind this show which was set to debut in May 77 and run for 15 weeks over summer. It was to be taped, rather than filmed and was set in the cosmetics industry.

Long time soap and primetime writer John D Hess seems to have been involved.

That's all I can uncover for now.

Does anyone have memories or info of this project?

It seemed to be ready to go,so what happened???

Wow, I vaguely, vaguely remember this and then recalling that this had a similar title to the Showtime series, "Beggars and Choosers" with Brian Kerwin.

Sharla is an awful name but still I would love if someone would ask Agnes. I need to track down a copy of her Manions of America miniseries (which I guess she only co wrote)
