Evan Lysacek may be the most recent Olympian on"Dancing with the Stars," but in a Access Hollywood poll, it was Johnny Weir who the AH Nation really wanted to see in the reality competition. So would he do it?

"Well, I'm honored to win the poll," Johnny told Access Hollywood's of sweeping the "Which Olympian would you most like to see do 'Dancing with the Stars'?" poll with 58 percent of the vote (Shaun White came in second with 16 percent, Evan in third with 10 percent). "And I absolutely would do it.

Despite the training that goes into making figure skaters look graceful on the ice, Johnny said he could use some pointers on some of the sexier ballroom dances.

"I'd love to learn how to foxtrot and cha cha," Johnny said. "Believe it or not, I have terrible dancing skills. I can do everything on the ice, but as soon as you put me on the ground, I'm that person that falls down walking off a curb."

Johnny Weir is using his heightened celebrity status to get behind a diversified list of charities and causes. “It’s just what I was taught by my parents,” Weir says. “When you’re in a position to help people, you should do it,” he added.

It was announced today that Weir would host 88 for AIDS, a May 6th fundraiser to support AidsWalk New York and Team 119, the mental health clinic at GMHC. The classical piano concert and cocktail reception will be held in a spectacular Tribeca penthouse loft and will feature buff bartenders from modelbartenders.com pouring Ultimat Vodka cocktails. Tickets to the event are available at www.88forAIDS.com

Since the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, the “outspoken and outrageous” Weir has appeared on a plethora of TV talk shows from “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” to “LIVE! With Regis & Kelly,” not to mention starring in his own reality series, “Be Good Johnny Weir,” on the Sundance channel. He is a three time national champion, two time Olympian and is currently in talks with potential sponsors to help produce his own ice spectacular. When asked to comment on his interest and dedication to charitable causes, Weir took a line from his realty show, “When I’m good, I’m very good…”

Quote from Evan Lysacek about Johnny Weir not being asked to participate in Stars on Ice. "Stars on Ice' is really selective of who they hire and they only hire the best of the best to skate. It would’ve been hard of them to justify hiring him, and I think he was really upset because he wanted the financial benefit of the tour. A lot of us in the skating world were really disappointed in the way he reacted, basically whining that he wasn’t chosen."

Johnny on Wendy Williams, responded by saying that he has never been asked to do Stars on Ice, and it's not a problem for him. Johnny believes that everybody made a big deal out of him not participating because he was the Miss Congeniality of the Olympics. Johnny then called Evan a "slore."

Think both Johnny and Evan should have a time out, but they have competed against each other since they were teens and they have slammed each other for years - however I think Stars on Ice is wrong not to hire Johnny - for one reason he would bring in more people to buy tickets to see fierce Johnny.

Weir continued the mudslinging on Thursday when he told People, "I've never whined. I wasn't the one who falls dancing and gets a concussion and breaks toes and has hip replacement surgeries. If anyone whines, it's definitely Evan. He's done that his whole career, and I've never said anything about it just because there was no need."

"I have no respect for Evan Lysacek," added Weir, who is opening the new season for Ice Theatre of New York at Chelsea Piers.

Hoping to call a truce with his colleague, Lysacek issued a statement on Friday, calling Weir "an accomplished and talented skater."

"I let my personal feelings cloud my judgment in how I answered a journalist's question about 'Stars on Ice' and Johnny that I should never have answered," he said. "I should have known better."

Got another sad news from the Bahamian community (not a celebrity)  https://www.instagram.com/p/DJMSrYCgyes/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== Former Bahamian Senate President J Henry Bostwick, Husband of former 1st Bahamian Female Cabinet Minister Dame Janet Bostwick is dead yesterday on his 86th birthday.    Thanks and for those who've aren't familiar with the talk shows in The Bahamas on this thread here, his talk show named The Freedom March with Dr Rodney Moncur that airs on ILTV and The Beat 103.5 FM Nassau every weekday afternoons. IIRC, he suffered a illness before he died.  Here's the link for his final taping of the show before his death: https://ewnews.com/this-is-powerful-rodney-moncurs-final-sign-off/

    • One thing I thought about is if Hayley will have a reaction to Bill threatening to kidnap and sell a baby. That's another level of viciousness and with her just having thought she was pregnant it might make her feel some type of way.
    • You're welcome. Fall 1982-Spring 1985 was the peak of primetime soaps. What a time to have been alive.
    • 1990/91 Cheers, Roseanne, A Different World, The Cosby Show, Empty Nest, The Golden Girls were still Top 10 shows, and Murphy Brown and Designing Women became Top 10 shows. It was the following season that I think was the transition season for sitcoms.
    • @xtr I loved Martin in Thursday's episode, he was almost a different character. I thought he was flirty, funny, carefree, and giggly. Glad I have someone to share my top 2 women(Nicole and Eva) with, I agree Nicole is the heart of the Dupree family, and also the heart of the show IMO. We rode into the show on the passenger side of her car, lol. What I am enjoying the most about the show, is that they did such a great job character building, because all I care about is the CHARACTER journey. Nicole, Eva, Leslie, Dani, Chelsea, etc. very invested in what's coming next. I even feel that way about Mona, Shanice, and Doug.
    • I know we have discussed the fact that Another World seemed to be planning a location shoot in Finland that got cancelled. I came across this item from the syndicated Soapbox column published June 14, 1982. "Soap operas have been experimenting extensively with on-location shooting in recent years to enhance storylines and increase their viewing audience. A major drawback is the added production costs involved. Another World, for example, cancelled a special trip for Victoria Wyndham (Rachel Cory on the show), who was scheduled to shoot scenes in Finland. The producers felt that the high price tag, along with resentment of the cast members who also wanted to travel but were to be left behind. was enough to scrap the whole project."
    • A few more thoughts about these last two episodes. I thought it was interesting how much disdain both Dani/Anita have for Eva. I thought it was amusing how Dani was calling her lying/conniving and how Anita pointed as if to say, "that part". They definitely are not here for her, and I could see them having harsh confrontations with her in addition to Leslie. I'm curious to see Kat's interaction with Eva on Monday's episode. I think it might be interesting if Kat (along with possibly Naomi/Chelsea) come around to Eva before Dani/Anita do. Of course, Kat will be understandably angry at her. But maybe a tiny part of her might feel sorry for her if she really does believe that she's Ted's daughter as well and that Leslie lied to her. I could see Kat confronting Eva again and warning her not to harm her family anymore. But I could also possibly see Kat admitting that what Ted/Leslie did regarding her was messed up as well. And maybe that will pave the way down the line for them to get along better. I also agree with the comments/speculation made in the threat that Nicole will eventually accept/probably love her someday as well. I still wouldn't mind if somehow Nicole ended up being her biological mother. They have both been acting like they care for each other in this storyline. Nicole somehow ending up being her mother would be soapy and provide some more interesting layers in this story. And regarding Andre/Dani's romance it seems like they are genuinely developing feelings for each other. I have missed episodes, so maybe more of this has been elaborated on. But it seemed like there was genuine affection between both of them when they snuck a kiss publicly in the hotel. And also, them both talking about going publicly with their relationship. I wonder what everyone's reactions will be should they be caught by someone together. Of if they flat out tell everyone about their relationship.
    • I was wondering what week it was, and it explains the low rating for Knots Landing. I was also wondering what preempted Dallas and Falcon Crest.
