@alwaysAMC Thanks (belatedly) for your latest recap. I had forgotten Dylan got these nice moments with Susan. I did remember Annie choosing the dramatic moment to end her feud with Reva, but appreciate the details.

I wonder if they gave a reason why Trish wasn't there.

I was going to say she wouldn't have missed Josh's wedding but then I remembered she only went to one of them. Can't say I blame her there.

I'm glad they mentioned Hamp one last time. I wonder if they said he was dead or just spoke of him through the wedding memories. A shame they couldn't bring Gilly back at this time as Amelia Marshall was off AMC or soon would be.

Did Trish make it to the next one? 'Cause I didn't think Rebecca appeared after HB's funeral.

She did, yes. I suppose Rauch or whoever was trying harder for the anniversary. I was so pleasantly surprised when Maeve returned as after the coma months and her exit I didn't know if we'd ever see Vanessa again.

If you're going to include Stacy, I would include a reimagined/less annoying J. Chamberlain.

India's daughter Dory.

Rita's kid, who was never brought into the story. (It was never confirmed she had one, but they were setting that up for ages).

And they could always invent children for Alan Michael, Amanda (so not every Spaulding descendant is actually a Marler), Nick, Samantha, Trish and Mindy Lewis, etc.

I always found it funny how all of Alan's grandchildren are biological Marlers.

LOL...I remember Terrell Anthony (I think) said once he was demoted to the "children's table" at one of his cameos. I mostly remember Vanessa's there because she hustles away from the party to talk to Ed. If Dinah hadn't been recast or JvD had stayed, we probably wouldn't have seen Vanessa at anything other than an obligatory appearance at weddings.

Re: Dorie. India mentioned Doroe getting married soon, she easily could've had a child. I'd also like to think that Tony/Annabelle had a few kids and Johnny/Rosie. I'd have Mindy and Rick adopt... from an unwed young mother (for maximum soapiness).

Except for Gus' son Rafe. (who is arguably forgettable anyway.)

Rusty is the one I remember popping up the most. I wonder if Terrell ever talked about why he didn't come back for the end. I assume he was asked.

I can't remember if they ever said anything about Rusty's life while he was away or if he just came and went.

After all the damage Dinah did to Vanessa it is only right that she helped Vanessa return. Still, what a monkey's paw to get Vanessa back on and giving her some of the material I never thought she'd have regarding Matt and Billy - a shame Ross ended up going.

You're welcome! :)

No mention of Trish at all. Last time we saw her (so far) was HB's funeral.

The Hamp/Gilly mention was very short, basically a quick scene with Billy/David/Vicky and Billy was telling Vicky about David's arrival to SF during their wedding. That's all they said unfortunately, but I'll take it! :) Never have mentioned that he passed, that I've seen so far.

Amelia left AMC in October of 99, so a handful of months later from this wedding. It's a shame because they didn't really use her that well in that last year, IIRC... would have loved to see Gilly actually back on GL.

Him and Gil Rogers. I guess a lot of actors moved on to other roles, but why Rusty (who's a fairly insignificant blip of a character) gets back a lot...*shrugs* I wonder if they even asked Rebecca Hollen for other events.

Sigh--I'd have really been sad at the end if Vanessa had been stuck with that jerk **** for soap opera ever after.

You just reminded me! Tony and Annabelle had at least one kid: a boy named Tommy. Bea and Maureen went to visit and they even did some scenes of them taking care of the baby. So add Tommy Reardon to the list.

That's one of my pet peeves about the show. Phillip spreads the Marler pollen almost literally everywhere. Meanwhile, none of Alan or Alex's biological children had children. It's ridiculous and I can't understand why TPTB never stopped to think about this. I can only imagine it was due to the belief that GA was their biggest star except for KZ. Who also had a heck of a lot of children for someone who it was thought was going to have difficutly having anymore babies at one point.

He truly was forgettable as I think this is the second or third time this has happened (that and many were not watching by then - I didn't start back until the last year so I'll include myself). I suppose that's one benefit of giving Alan a long lost son. (I'm also glad they never had Gus and Alan fighting over a woman - imagine a GL where they fought over Harley...)

He was so forgettable I forgot about him. 😂

If that had happened, Harley would have beat Reva in the "sleeping your way through a whole family" Olympics.

But thanks for the really gross images in my head. Alan and Beth were bad enough.

Lol. My brother and I used to mock him.. "I wanna be a COP, like muh DAD!"

Wanted to add, that I liked Gus. I'm glad he wasn't Selina and Miguel's son-- nobody deserves that.

After Dinah left in 99, would've been a good time to bring in Stacy-- Vanessa's troublesome niece stirring shizz up. Its all too soaplike to replace one character with a new character that fills the same void. Stacy would perhaps be spoiled, globetrotting with her dad, while Nola and Quint were apart. I don't know where Nola was supposed to be in '99, according to @alwaysAMC recaps, it seems like she may have still been in town, but offscreen until Company is sold to BUZZard?
