Nothing against Heinle as a person but my first though after hearing about her pregnancy was "DAMN, they're enever going to fire her now"... Sigh!!!

Update: Gina has pretaped to her scenes so Dinah will be seen through the finale.

• Finale update: Emmy winner Gina Tognoni tells Soap Opera Digest that she will continue airing as Dinah until the finale on Sept. 18. The popular actress pre-taped all her unaired scenes in June. This latest intel suggests Tognoni did have another soap deal in the works for her to ask executive producer Ellen Wheeler to leave GL earlier than the rest of the cast.

Why does it matter?

I'm a Victoria fan but NOT with Heather Tom in the role nothing against her.

I just want somebody who I like and feel looks more mature and Tognoni fits that.

I would love her in the role from what 'youtube clips' I have seen she is strong, and her role needs to be expanded and I doubt Heinle can do that being pregnant and even before it seems.

I do know I do NOT want to see Heather Tom as Victoria again, she is Katie on B&B would look ridiculous and besides I am not a fan of hers at all.

I loved Heinle when she started then the writing became very bland after Smith and Alden left the writing team.

If they want to expand Victoria's role and Amelia isn't available to do so and Tognoni is, why not? They cannot put things on hold.

I mean with Jill she was recasted many times before Jess (and they finally got it right)
