May 23, 200916 yr Member I effin knew it! Remember when Jack stood outside Victor's home when he was in his self-imposed confinement, and called him a coward for not coming up? I knew that there was going to be a turn between these two men. The war is SO on. Yeah, but I don't want to see Victor even thinking of engineering Jack's death . That would be a major turn in Victor's character. If Mary Jane has murder on her mind , I want that to be an "unexpected" event (for Victor ) that he did not anticipate, not knowing that Patty had tried to kill Jack back in the day. If it goes that route, I'll begin to understand that the writers have lost touch with this show again. It will be right back to LML-era plotting (Jack and Nikki compete as senators! Sure!) Those Victor spoilers don't sound too good. Are they trying to turn Y&R into General Hospital? Y&R was supposed to be about corporate intrigue not murder most foul. EXACTLY!
May 23, 200916 yr Member Cane and his REAL family. Those spoilers sound silly and shouldn't be taken seriously until CBS releases the confirmation.
May 23, 200916 yr Member Remember, they aren't spoilers. The information came from two individual sources who were essentially saying the same thing, and both sources are reliable, but again... until the show confirms it via the weekly previews, I wouldn't call 'em "spoilers." Anything can change. I was just passing it down the grapevine. I understand, and I appreciate both your caution in labelling the information and your caveat. That said, I would be very unhappy if Victor turns murderous . That said, I guess we could argue he has been thus since he engineered Walter Palin's death--spoiler protection just so it won't ruin the other part ...but there I somehow understood the motivation.

May 23, 200916 yr Member What is the point of Victor bringing Mary Jane to town though? What is the revenge angle?
May 23, 200916 yr Member Regarding the "Victor wants MJ to kill Jack" thing, I just prefer to think that Sabrina's death made him go a little wonky. It wasn't too long ago that everyone was speculating he was behind the gaslighting of Ashley for the same reason. Edited May 23, 200916 yr by Kennylicious

Mark - this feud can only go on so long before the ante gets upped. Sabrina, while universally disliked by everyone (not me!), was the wife Victor ALWAYS wanted. Sweet, innocent, beautiful (to HIM!), and best of all obedient. She epitomized everything he wanted in a wife. That was taken away from him brutally - and people say he got over her too soon, but I don't think he did or ever will till he gets his revenge. Victor will never forgive himself for not taking Sabrina home - cause he was too busy getting the goods on that tool Phillipe and that leads him to load it all on Jack. Jack broke that story about Phillipe and Sabrina which was completely untrue. And what Jack did to Adam and Victor was completely and totally worthy of some payback. Jack was VERY dark too when he read that diary to Adam, covered his tracks and played poor pitiful, pathetic Adam for a fool. This progression seems logical and makes for damn good drama.

It wasn't too long ago that everyone was speculating he was behind the gaslighting of Ashley. Well, during the last year Jack faked Victor's diary and is now working with "Colleen" against Victor, while Victor is using Mary Jane to get to Jack. It's always about these two doing things to one-up the other. But the spumour is going a little bit too far. And BTW Kenny, I love your DLM signature. I miss that show so much.

The way he is still so vile to Nikki...I personally think Victor still has untreated epilepsy or a screw loose from the death. So, yes, that would work for me. Yeah, but Jill-Kay have feuded for 36 years, and neither of them wants to kill the other. The ante can get upped too far. But, I'll play along. I hope the murder part ends up being all MJ's idea...and that the extent of TGVN's involvement is -- at most -- failing to intervene.

Jill/Kay is a very feminine feud, Jack and Victor is testosterone city. I hear your concerns about the fallout from this, and can this Victor be redeemed and where do we go from here. But keep this in mind - Jack did indeed commit a crime and he has gone unpunished. If Victor does indeed ask MJ to kill Jack and of course she won't, but he'll pin the whole thing on MJ just like Jack did to Adam. This whole storyline is very much a war and the sides are both even and beautifully synchronistic. Jack tried to take Victor's life (life in jail) and now victor is trying to do it literally. Victor has not fought back against Jack at all publicly.
