Y'know I love this show...but these stories suck. I couldn't believe TAIC wasted Maura for two days literally standin' behind the menfolk as they whipped 'em out and decided who was Johnny's father.

At least you missed the two-week Maddie recast. She sucked. And she and Lucy made brief returns at Xmas---it was hard telling them apart if (okay, when) I wasn't paying attention.

Ugh. I didn't even like Alex Chando's Maddie.

Ugh...don't get me started. The pairing reeked of desperation. And when he kept telling Lily he'd work on their marriage, then tell Carly he couldn't get her out of his mind (when she tried to push him away) and then crawled back into bed with Lily----he officially died for me.

Didn't Lily sleep with Mike? Holden & Lily have become a couple by default. It doesn't seem like ATWT has supercouples, but if they have any, it's these two and Carly & Jack. I've never understood the appeal of either, though.

Katie hasn't done much since marrying Brad. I think we're supposed to feel bad for Katie, but she's barren because she couldn't wait for her body to heal after donating bone marrow to Johnny. She took fertility drugs and had an ectopic pregnancy. Hard to feel sorry for such an idiot, even if I'd had an ounce of like for the idiot.

That's one thing I hate about the Katie character. More often than not, she's portrayed as the victim. Other characters sing her praises. We're *supposed* to like her...no matter what she does. I liked her when she first came on the show...back when people didn't trust her character. I hate how quickly she's become "Saint Katie." Seems like a lot of ATWT fans aren't liking Damian as a good guy, but at least half the town is still treating him like a criminal.

Today's (Thursday) show bored me. Can't say I really care about any of the characters that were on. I like Henry & Vienna, but Katie & Brad can both take a hike.

Yep, horny Lily jumped on the Tool. NuMike was okay....but a lot of people thought he looked way too young for the part. I think TIIC assume a lot of people are still attached sentimentally to Holden and Lily. I even liked them when they were young...but they'd run out of steam even while Martha was still around. I honestly think it was a mistake to recast Lily without a long, LONG period between Byrne and Beck. An "end" to the marriage would have made the Holden/Carly affair a lot less disgusting and a lot more understandable.

I think a lot of ATWT's trouble with couples now stems from the fact there's no buildup to a relationship and when you get it, it's destroyed in a matter of months. And even if a couple manages to get past that, then they're backburnered. Brad and Katie got married and disappeared (at least it seems like it) between sex romps. Henry and V have never really had a story other than sex romps. Don't get me wrong, I'm actually glad I don't have to see a lot of Jack and Janet---but the lack of romance leaves a gaping hole in the show.

Parker and Lib skipped to an imaginary state that gives 16 yr olds the right to marry without parental permission. Carly and Craig managed to get to the justice of the peace before the "I do's", but Parker went on a tirade, listing all of Carly's mothering failures and claimed he was afraid of her controlling his trust fund. (Parker was upset because Jack had finally got fed up with his 'tude and was going to use trust fund money to send him to a private school, so he got an injunction, then heard emanicipation would be easier if he got married--or wanted to--so he "proposed" to Libby) The judge threatened to throw Carly in jail if she touched her son, and went on with the ceremony.

JJ got shipped off---he supposedly wanted to go to private school and got a scholarship. I don't think he even hung around to see Jack marry Janet.

Uhm....I'll see if Carly can't ship you a crate or two of Midnight Sun vodka. It's her preferred drink of choice, although lately, she's getting tanked on everything.

How ironic is it that while Y&R is fantastic, ATWT has pretty much hit rock bottom, then grabbed a shovel and keeps digging?

The most boring triangle featuring three of the least likable characters: Dusty, Paul and Meg. I used to like Meg, but she's become little more than something to fight over. This story is terminally boring and I stopped caring several years ago.

Dusty and Paul on one soap is one Douchebag too many. TH is still playing Todd Manning and GM is still attending the Maurice Benard school of obnoxiousness. With. His. Staccato. Delivery.

Carly and Craig? Wrong on so many levels! Not that she is one to judge but did she forget the pure HELL Craig caused by switching her sister's dead baby? And his trying to run her other sister off the road almost killing her and putting her in a coma for years?

Liberty and Parker - Ummm, didn't we see this teen marriage [!@#$%^&*] on ATWT like 5 years ago, only with Emmy worthy actors? Sheesh I miss Will and Gwen.

Lucy - and her dumbo story. First she's here, then she's gone, then she's back, and apparently she will once again be gone. Is anything being written longterm?

Katie and Brad and the baby mama drama. Remember when Katie was integral to the show with great stories? Me neither. Seems like forever ago.

Zac and Zoey. Easily the worst two characters EVER, played perfectly by the worst two actors they could find. WTF is this dumb [!@#$%^&*]? Hey Z, Hey to you, Z, Um, yeah they are just a bunch of big ol ZZzzzzzz.

Another month goes by, another SNOOZER.

I have not seen ATWT in such a mess in a very long time. I remember when I quit watching it a long time ago because it became pitiful, and I am getting to that point now. We can see Carly's Rehab stint (to take Maura off the show for a while) coming from a mile away and I no longer think I can wait. It's one big ol WTF FF shitfest.

I know cutbacks and all, but does half the town need to live in the same hotel room (Vienna, Henry, Craig, Lucy, Dusty...)? Obnoxious Paul has to sleep and have sex on the sofa since his bedroom is used for rare moments like when Meg is drugged up. The entire Snyder clan seemingly crammed themselves into Lucinda's POOLHOUSE, which muct have sprouted five bedrooms for all of those kids. Jack and Janet have to mooch off of Emma. Might as well rename this shithole As The World Turns Cheaply.

What's with all these short term pointless horridly written plots? The Z twins? Lucy smuggling? Katie and Brad's reality TV? Meg & Dusty? I have not seen a show so completely without story direction since GH - and that was some years back, cause as suckass as the Mobspital show still is, it ain't nearly this crappy and unwatchable. This is obviously NOT a good time for a show to meander aimlessly while the soap audience continues to dwindle.

Also, I can't believe NuNuLucy is gone again. I didn't like the actress, she just didn't embody the whole "I'm Lucinda Walsh's granddaughter, bitches!" spirit that Peyton List had. If Chrishell Stause leaves AMC I would love to see them pick her up for this role, or Heidi Mueller from Passions.

After the [!@#$%^&*] went down about her doctoring the paternity tests on Meg's baby, Ro had a relapse. Not that I remember any of it. Gawd, that Quad bored the hell out of me. Somehow I doubt Ro is doing more than feeding baby lambs or something. I know it's lame, but I do like Cady enough to swallow this bilge.

Hunter needs a) some man-scaping and a gift certificate to a gym with a tanning booth. I wanted to snort when Em said she'd "dated a younger man, and it wasn't for her." Let's see....originalPaul, Chris, Casey...it took her a while to decide "younger men" weren't for her.

I preferred farm girl Rosanna to poor little endlessly whining rich girl Rosanna of the later Yvonne Perry years, but I can't imagine her going back. I like Cady, I think she reinvented Rosanna and has been stuck with bad writing for an eternity, I guess I'll watch.

*eyeroll* I'm so glad Paul stands out in the middle of Oakdale Mall and explains to anyone within listening distance that Sally, the babysitter I paid off to make Meg look like a negligent mother has returned to town. Gosh knows poor Damian might have mistaken "the babysitter" for any regular sitter Paul and/or Meg had ever employed.

My ears are bleeding after listening to Katie and Brad yell their way through the entire episode.

V and Henry's message to their baby was heartbreaking though.
