OMG, Michelle ROCKED IT in Monday's eppy. I felt so bad for Phyllis when she wrote "I Hate You" on the mirror because wheile she may have been talking about Sharon, you could tell that Phyllis was talking about herself when she said "I hate you too".

You see, this is how Phyllis is different this time. Sure she's totally crazy but she is not quite as malicious as she is in that clip. This Phyllis has been driven back to this place and she does not look like she wants to be there again. When she says that she hated herself in the mirror, she seems to be saying it because she knows she's taken a huge step backward and it could cost her dearly. Not that Nick is any sort of prize but the little chance they had left could be gone with this stunt. However, she couldn't help herself.

ITA agree with this assessment. And we have to realize as well that this behavior is not unwarranted. The fact that she even realizes that she hates herself for taking a step backward here, is a good sign that psycho Phyllis most likely is not coming back. It could cost her her marriage and her children and I don't think she is going that route again but knowing Phyllis here, she is going to get caught for this too!!:lol:

I'm down with what you describe. CHARACTER GROWTH. It makes sense that Phyllis is driven back into her desperate behavior, but if there is growth, she should not stay there.

Phyllis has always had that crazy streak within her, some people may change, but certain qualities will always reside deep within us.

And frankly, it took this this whole storyline to get Michelle Stafford to actually act again, after two years of phoning EVERYTRHING in.
