I remember thinking it was rather rushed. How long did it last?

I believe it started in May and ended sometime in December/January. The beginning was a little fast but I definitely wouldn't call it rushed. They played A LOT of beats in that storyline, moreso than the AMC baby switch and that one lasted FOREVER!

I thought the acting and the reasoning was better in the Gwen baby switch but the AMC one was only from March to December, so not that much longer. But it seems like Days had the last baby switch where the mother (well, mostly the audience) truly had time to grow attached to her to the child. All the others are so rushed, soaps have the luxury of time and they rarely make use of it. Except with things I hate, like bad stories which never seem to end.
