I may have more to add to this list later. It is something I have been working on for SoapsWEB.

Several stars are celebrating some anniversaries this year.

Robin Strasser has now been playing Dorian on and off for 30 years - debuting in 1979.

Peter Bergman is celebrating 30 years in soaps - 20 of them playing Jack Abbott. He debuted as Cliff Warner on AMC in 1979 and then moved to Y&R in 1989.

Jill Larson is celebrating 20 years playing Opal on AMC.

Melody Thomas Scott is celebrating 30 years in daytime - all 30 playing Nikki. She debuted in February 1979.

Cady McClain debuted as Dixie in 1989 and has pretty much been involved with daytime ever since.

Bobbie Eakes is celebrating 20 years in daytime. She debuted on B&B in 1989.

Sharon Case is celebrating 20 years in daytime. She debuted on GH as Dawn (Monica's daughter) in 1989. She left in 1990. Went to ATWT in 1992 to 1993. Then to Y&R in 1994.

Beth Chamberlin debuted as Beth Raines on October 2, 1989. She was off the show for about 6 years - so doesn't have a full 20 years in yet.

I will add others to the list as I discover them. I have not looked at the 1969 ones yet. I don't think there are any current stars who debuted in 1969 still on but I will check it out soon.

Jerry Ver Dorn would be on this list as he began on GL as Ross Marler in 79,until he moved to OLTL as Clint.

James Mitchell has played Palmer on AMC since 79,and he is still considered part of the cast ,although he has not appeared for some time.

Also Kim Zimmer debuted on The Doctors in 79(I think)and has been pretty much on soaps ever since.
