January 24, 200917 yr Member I thought that that yellowish, lime thing she wore on Inauguration Day was absolutely - hideous. And wrong in more ways than one. 1. It's brocade, postitively horrible even because it's worn only - in the evening. People with taste and knowledge of certain customs should have known better: brocade - evening. 2. It's to strong on her given the kind of figure she has. 3. Shiny stockings? Wrong again. They reflect too much and are even worse in the combination with those kiss-of-death, green shoes. 4. It's too bright a colour, which makes her look larger than she is. Especially given Barack Obama's figure standing right there next to her. In my opinion, she wanted to go "Carla Bruni visits the Queen of England" way. But in the end she dressed like an American lady from the sixties. Edited January 24, 200917 yr by Sylph
January 25, 200917 yr Member I loved her dress. I also love that she didn't get a big named designer to do her clothes.
January 25, 200917 yr Member I happened to like her lime-green outfit, I wasn't even love with the shoes though.
