SoapNet Has A Heart About Programs About Kendall Hart

You never can :lol::P

All right, I give up then. I usually watch on ABC, so maybe that's why I still see a big difference. It normally does look much better on SN.

LMFAO! At this point of time, I believe Ms. Arabella was "hitting the high seas" with JR in San Diego while watching Dynasty reruns. You know, it just hit me that Babe's Dynasty love was probably a way for ABC to advertise one of SOAPnet's shows.

Edited: According to the marathon schedule, this ep aired in November 03, so I think Babe was already in town by then, with JR.

My God, Mia looked a hot mess here. Just horrid.

"I Was This Baby"

This is one of my favorite Kendall's scenes. Man was it a good one

LOL...Babe even revealed that her mother's name was Krystal Carrington but that was dropped. I liked her Dynasty obsession. It would have been great if it was brought up from time to time

Soapnet has a win a virtual boyfriend for a year contest? WTF?

Di is Dixie? storyline!

I miss Kelli Giddish - she was so good and then was completely wasted. I remember MEK even saying that she was one of the best new actresses he's ever seen. What a wasted opportunity.

Bobbie Eakes looked so much better with the longer, lighter hair. Her do lately has been bad.

OMG - the first Josh - he was cute. Didn't last long.

That was hilarious. I remember Adam was trying to dig up dirt on Krystal, and so he tells his go-to guy that her name is Krystal Carrington, and he's all "Yes....yes, just like the damn show!" And when Babe first met Liza and Colby, she was all giddy because she thought Liza named Colby after "The Colbys." That cracked me out.

As long as we don't get a "WHAT. IS. SEXY?" commercial immediately following each soap.

First Josh? There is no such thing as a "first Josh." How dare you speak that blasphemy with Colin as your avatar?

Okay, yeah, Kenworthy was indeed cute, and not a bad actor at all.

Amanda looks much younger - I didn't realize how much different she looked...her eyebrows might be the reason.

I really liked the Amanda/Josh stuff at New Beginnings....and the Babe/Amanda rivalry.

Damn how hot were those first few scenes with naked Jamie --- you could totally see his package - and that's hot :P

    • It really is ridiculous how happy episodes from 40 years ago make me. God, MKA is so young!
    • Holy sh.it. THAT was a damn soap opera. I’m at a loss for words for how good that was.
    • A private elevator penthouse with a spiral staircase to the primary suite.  Sign me up! The only deficit was that various riff-raffs seemed to have easy access to the elevator.

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get it. While I agree with those on here that say he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.
