Soaps sometimes bring characters back at Xmas time.

Who would you like to see visit family and friends?

What visitors do you recall seeing from the past?

On Y&R I'd like Traci to come home so the Abbott siblings could be back together, and she could spend time with her never seen daughter! Maybe Dina could pop in,having briefly returned for Katherine's funeral.

It would be nice for April to visit Heather. It could help flesh out the wholePaul/Heather dynamic. Also, some reference to ricky would be good.

Some characters that should be mentioned or make phone calls - Nikki's sister Casey,Victor's brother Matt and Jills's 'brother'Brock Reynolds.

Jack should mention Kyle(I've given up on Keemo ever being mentioned again)

That's quite a list,considering Y&R honors it's history pretty well.

Who would you like to see on this or other shows??

Lauren's mother Joanna

Where are Doris Collins and Mary Williams?

On Y&R: Joanna, Doris and Mary. To keep Colleen off my screen, I will pass on a Traci-return. LOL!

On B&B: Actually seeing all Forresters with their children is already a huge step. The important characters are on the canvas; they are just wallpaper for 2/3 of the year, though. Sigh!

Returnees: Ann Douglas, Maggie, Jessica, James and with a shocking twist: Bobbie Eakes' Macy and Kimberlin Brown's Sheila drinking Tequilas in Rio!

I'd love to see a big Stewart Christmas on ATWT. [!@#$%^&*], it could only be for just one episode...just have the whole family together. Susan, Emily, Alison, Dani, Betsy, Dee, Annie, her four kids, all of whom would be around 25-30 years old post SORASing and have no storyline history with the show and are ridiculously viable characters to add to the canvas longterm.

It's what they should have done for Christmas 2006. Even the show's anniversary is in April, it would have been so nice to have everybody from every major family around. They could have gotten all of the Hughes people, all of the Stewart people, all of the Snyder people, and everyone else. The perfect opportunity to restructure the show!

And then the thing is, it's not as if this would mean having nothing but old people on the show. There are enough younger Hugheses and Stewarts out there for them to fit in and for those families to still be relevant. Annie Stewart had quads! At least two of them should have been made into long-running beloved characters!

AMC - Hayley and Mateo come for a Christmas visit to the Chandlers, Liza comes to visit her mother and daughter, Dixie is alive (Christmas miracle)...

GH - Luke goes to bed on Christmas Eve and he wakes up on Christmas realizing the last 3-4 years were a bad, bad dream. Georgie, Emily, AJ, Alan, Cassius and the others are all alive and well..Sonny left town and Jason falls into a black hole and is never seen again. Now that would be one fine Christmas for me.

Hey, they could do it around the Abbott table without her like we saw most recently. I'd love to have another Abbott family Christmas but without the current Colleen. Looks as if poor Jack may be all alone this Christmas though.

    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
