According to SOD:

On Nov. 13 Liz Hubbard will be guesting on Life on Mars along with Grant Aleksander and Alicia Minshew. The characters that Liz and Grant play are having an affair and Alicia's character will walk in on them. It doesn't sound like the roles are very large but they are considering making them recurring.

Jennifer Ferrin also makes her next appearance on the same epi.

Life on Mars airs Thursday nights on ABC.

Renee Goldsberry had a role in the most recent episode. They clearly love the soap stars.

Seeing as how it films in New York, if the show isn't prematurely cancelled we'll be sure to see a lot more soap and Broadway stars.
