Members NYC123
Thanks to ljacks13 “This fall will be about fresh starts, unholy alliances, front-and-center families and lots of couples,” previews new GL Head Writer Jill Lorie Hurst. Reva/Jeffrey: “Reva and Jeffrey will make it to their wedding day, but not without some strong opposition from Josh. The day will be fun and spontaneous. Reva will be hit with some big challenges and changes that will affect her both physically and emotionally. She will go forward bravely and Jeffrey will be there every step of the way.” Josh/Cassie/Cyrus: “Josh will never completely give up on Reva, but he sees that she’s happy and he has to let her be – for now. Cassie is ready to lighten up and having a cute jewel thief as a friend isn’t a bad way to start. She doesn’t want to jump into relationship, but [she and Cyrus] have some fun adventures together.” Alan/Beth: “Alan will get the medical help he needs and come back more Alan-like than ever. [He] will not go to trial in the near future, but Jeffrey is always looking to pin him for his crimes. Beth will stick with Alan, but decides to go back to school, something Alan’s not crazy about.” Grady/Daisy/Rafe: “Rafe won’t be able to fight Grady for Daisy for a while. Grady is in no hurry to redeem himself in the eyes of Springfield. The only people he cares about are Daisy and Cyrus. Grady’s impulsiveness gets him in a lot of trouble. He’ll team up with someone in town and they’ll wreck havoc over the next couple of months. Daisy knows Grady is no good for her, so she tries to steer clear and stay busy with a new job, but Grady’s sp cute and misunderstood and that’s hard for a girl to resist.” Mallet/Marina: “This romance is a breath of fresh air for both characters. It will take some surprising steps in the months to come.” Lizzie/Bill: “Lizzie will stay in Springfield and help Bill get over [losing] Max. They love each other, but can’t get out of their own way long enough to let the romance flourish, and their mutual desire to run the business is another obstacle.” Dinah: “Dinah and Mallet will always love each other, but right now they’re working on being friends. Dinah is devastated by Bill’s rejection and realizes she needs to start over and take care of herself this time.” Coop/Ashlee/Blake: “Coop heads back to the classroom and Ashlee may get in over her head as Dinah’s right-hand gal at WSPR. [blake’s] given up Coop, but we’ll get her into some kind of trouble. Remy: “We love the Boudreau family and plan to see more of them. Remy realizes it’s time to make some good choices. He wants love in his life. He makes decisions that surprise his family and himself.”
Members RoseVioletDaisy
Wow, it sounds like the "new writers" are even more pathetic than the "old ones". Oh, that's right, they're the same ones just split up so they can spread their crap farther and wider. That must be why this all sounds so nauseatingly familiar. These people are so freaking clueless that it's unbelievable! So we basically we can look forward to months of a Josh/Cassie/Cyrus triangle that nobody wanted with no mention of Reva or Marina in the mix, Mallet & Marina making everyone queasy by screwing around with only passing mention of Dinah and none of Cyrus (you know, the people that these two actually truly love), Grady and Daisy becoming even more despicable by the day, Bill continuing to treat Lizzie and Dinah like dirt and them taking it, Beth staying trapped with that lunatic Alan who wants to control her life and doesn't want her to educate herself, and Coop, Ashlee, and Blake being utterly irrelevent? Didn't these people notice how happy everybody was that Cassie & Josh seemed finally over and Josh realized that he'll always love Reva? Didn't they notice that nobody has been asking for a barn-boink sequel? Didn't they notice that viewers wanted Josh to slowly redeem himself and become worthy of Reva's love again and not stop until he does so? Didn't they notice that nobody cares who Cassie, the most hated female on the show, spends the next few months screwing? Especially when both of the men mentioned in the triangle belong with and have far better chemistry with another woman on the canvas. How can there be a viable triangle when everybody knows that neither Josh nor Cyrus belongs with Cassie? Josh belongs with Reva, Cyrus with Marina, and Cassie with a straightjacket. Didn't they notice how excited everybody was a few weeks ago at the mere prospect of reunions for Josh & Reva, Dinah & Mallet, Cyrus & Marina, Bill & Lizzie, and/or Billy & Vanessa? Did they notice all these things but just don't care what we want or are they actually trying to piss on literally every single fanbase that might ever consider tuning back in? I can't stomach watching Cyrus playing Cassie's latest lapdog while enabling Grady to get away with his crimes and continue to roam free while Daisy whines her way across town, Alan plays Ghost Whisperer while controlling and belittling Beth from the kitchen in Harley's still unpainted hovel, and Reva marries a serial rapist and apparently gets knocked up by him despite the fact that she's in her fifties, was diagnosed as menopausal over three years ago, and recently underwent chemotherapy and bone marrow transplants for cancer! I just can't. If this is the best they can come up with, just cancel it already and put everyone out of their misery.
Members southsidegirl
This is all just pure crap! The only fan base they are catering to is the' Reva and the rapist fan base.' Screw this show!
Members AddictedToSoaps
Sounds like [!@#$%^&*]. CBS, just cancel this show already.
Members Greg's GL
^^^ RVD, your post is right on target (as always). But these two parts killme: GMAMFB. So, Grady's in no hurry to redeem himself? Who gives a [!@#$%^&*]. And the part about him being "so cute and misunderstood that it's hard to resist him" ?!?!? WTF?? He's not misunderstood. We know exactly who he is. A worthless, out of work assassin that killed Tammy, kidnapped and tried to rape Ava, has shown no remorse for either of these things and is now a child molester. What is there to misunderstand? And I could easily understand how someone could resist him. He hangs out in abandoned sheds all day, or in a field somewhere, drinking beer with no job and evidently no desire to get one. How is that irresistable? Of course with Daisy trailer trash I guess he's the second coming or something... The Marina/Mallet "breath of fresh air" romance is anything but for the viewers. It's disgusting. Pointless, chemistry-free and vile. I can't stand those two together.
Members tanyia2
These spoilers make me sick If the "new" writers objectives are to get this show canceled then they are doing a bang up job.
Members RoseVioletDaisy
Well there goes the theory that Ellen Wheeler actually wanted fans to be happy with the show by the time fan club weekend rolled around. I honestly hope she gets pelted with rotten tomatoes at the luncheon. Maybe then she'll take a hint.
Members Vee
I didn't notice any actual stories in there, did you?

Members MichaelGL
Funny. Nice joke the original poster has pulled on us. Come on. This can't be the previews for the fall. . . . . . It is? Well GL must desperately want to hit a 1.0 and lower. Seriously what the [!@#$%^&*]? It's like DK is writing to drive away all the fans who watch the show. The Grady bull doesn't even surprise me, I mean look at what they've done with Alan. No one pays for their crimes in Springfield, it's just glossed over and pushed to the side.
