And here's why! COLE: I was trying to find a way to keep my kid, that's all. BLAIR: Oh, your kid? That's funny. And what does that make Starr? A receptacle? Ummmm...and what about when Starr made a decision regarding the baby without consulting Cole? What does that make Cole? A gardener? BLAIR: No, you can twist this any way you want, Cole, but you going to Starr's father, that's unforgivable. That's the one person she didn't want to know this information! Did you think about what it would do to her life? You drove even bigger wedge between the two of them. Blair and Starr are both idiots if they thought that Todd would never find out about Starr's pregnancy. Seriously. And yes, yes, they would have had a few more months to "figure out what to do," but Starr already figured out what she wanted to do, didn't she? Whether it be now or two or three months down the line, Todd would have still aggressively pursued that baby in any way he could. I would even venture to think that it would have been much worse if he knew that he only had a month or so to do what he wanted to do to get the child. It wouldn't be surprising if he took Starr and kept her until she went into labor so that he could take the kid as soon as she popped it out. COLE: I tried talking to her, but she wouldn't listen to me. BLAIR: Oh, you, it's all about you, isn't it? "I didn't know what to do because she wouldn't let --" my 16-year-old daughter is knocked up because of you! Her father walks in here and declares war! That's what you wanted, right? It's all about COLE?! Excuse me, Blair, but every single word out of your mouth is supportive of what Starr wants and what Starr needs. If Cole doesn't think about Cole, WHO is going to? Is he supposed to sit down and let you and Starr decide what's best for him? And that bullshit about him "knocking her up" needs to take a rest, seriously. SERIOUSLY! Starr is SIXTEEN YEARS OLD! She knew EXACTLY EXACTLY EXACTLY what she was doing when she and Cole "made love." She knows exactly what might happen if you have unprotected sex! She spread her legs open WILLINGLY, knowing that she could get pregnant. To say that Cole "knocked her up" is pathetic and really just irresponsible. He didn't attack her, he didn't sweet talk her into anything. She made the decision to open her legs! And I'm not saying that Cole doesn't deserve to be handed his ass for his part in it all, but have we EVER seen Blair really lay into Starr yet? And ask her what the [!@#$%^&*] she was thinking when she decided to have unprotected sex with Cole? Has Blair taken the time to make sure her daughter understands that having unprotected sex with your boyfriend IS NOT A GOOD IDEA?! NO! She's too busy laying into Todd and now laying into Cole. Starr is going to come out of this as some kind of "victim" when she's a major cause for the problem she's in right now. She needs to be taken to task about her decisions, because the way I see it now, nobody seems to think that she did anything wrong. Nothing is Starr's fault, and she is just a victim of Todd's craziness and Cole's burgeoning hormones. BLAIR: Oh, are you kidding me? You recruited Todd to come in here and browbeat my daughter. That's what you did, and you pushed his buttons just like a damn punk! COLE: That's my baby, too! And I'll do anything to be in its life. BLAIR: You put her in the line of fire, but you don't care because you got exactly what you wanted, right? Because Starr giving her child to Marcie and Michael wouldn't have pissed Todd off at all. Oh, wait, I forgot, Todd was never ever going to know that the child was Starr's. Yeah right. Sure. Dumbasses. BLAIR: You turned Todd loose on us. There wasn't anything I could do. But now, I'm going to protect my daughter from her father, and from you. And I swear to God, if you do anything to hurt my daughter, you're history. Translation: If you don't do what Starr wants you to do, you're gonna have to answer to her Mama. Because Starr ALWAYS gets what she wants, no matter what. COLE: Okay, I don't want to scare you, I love you. STARR: Don't you dare talk about love with me. Oh, true. You're supposed to ignore the one you love and believe that their feelings on something are inferior and insignificant compared to yours. Bitch. COLE: Starr, your dad would've found out sometime. STARR: Don't try to act all innocent, Cole. You've given my father months to fight me on this, thank you. IT'S THE FRICKING TRUTH! HE WOULD HAVE FOUND OUT! HGHDGLAFJA!!!! Todd ALWAYS finds out! And now she acts as if that was the plan all along, for him to figure out laaaater. PLEASE!!! Starr thought that Todd would NEVER find out about he pregnancy. STARR: Okay. So say you get the McBains to back down, you think I'm not going to give the baby away? There are plenty of couples out there that would love to have a child. And there you have it. Starr's crossed into the territory where she'll give the baby to anyone in the world as long as it meant Cole wouldn't have anything to do with it. COLE: Okay, you're the one that's pregnant, and it must feel like I got off easy. But you act like this baby's just your property and I have no say in what happens to it. And that's what it all comes down to right now. The baby is Starr's equipment to piss off Todd. STARR: And you act like this baby is your family, the antidote for losing your mom, but who do you go to, huh? You go to the man that hurt her most in her life. Your mother must be turning over in her grave right now. Ah, when it doubt, pull out references to dead mommy to reeeeeeally let Cole know how pissed off you are. If you gave a care about Cole having a family (that wasn't just YOU), you wouldn't have been such a bitch about letting him raise his child in the first place, he would have never went to Todd. STARR: If you loved me, you wouldn't have done this to me. You don't care about me. All you care about is winning, just like my father. You don't care about Cole. All YOU care about, Starr, is winning. Just like your father. STARR: And I'm doing what I have to do. I'm giving this baby to the McBains and there's nothing that anybody can do about it, not my dad and not you. Now I want you to leave me alone. Okay, just go. Doing what you have to do Starr. To hell with what the baby's biological father has to say about it, right? Selfish bitch. STARR: Go. Leave. Cole, I said to go. Cole, get out. Translation: Yes, Cole. Leave. If you keep looking at me like that, I might have the natural urge to "make love" to you again, and then you'll knock me up again, and it'll be ALL YOUR FAULT again. *sigh* Viki and Charlie were incredible as always. Brian Kerwin makes you believe that he's been on this show for ages with how natural he acts with Slezak and everybody else. It's going to be a rocky road for them, but I can't wait for them to get back together. I love how Viki dropped her guard enough to work with Charlie to figure out that Dorian had to have had something to do with his drinking. It makes it that much more obvious that she's ready to rebuild. Brody got all buck with Rex out of nowhere! I love me some Brody, always will, but that was just a little much. It's obvious that he's falling hard for Gigi again, and he can see that Rex is doing the same. I get that. But his comments about Rex being "stand-in daddy" were just a bit much given that Brody knows the truth. Or maybe we're seeing his [!@#$%^&*] streak starting to kick in? And daaaaaaamn, I felt bad for Rex at the end when he was standing by himself watching the fireworks. That's the kind of thing that really works my heart. Go Marcie! I agree with DES, Marcie isn't afraid of Todd at all. If he drives her enough, and he doesn't have Keys or someone around, and Michael doesn't stop her, I think Marcie could lose her mind all over Todd and kick him in his balls. Loved her calling him a bastard! Fire it up, Marcie! But...on the other hand, I loved Michael laying down the law. Every word of it was the truth and I'm glad he stuck to his guns and left. Whenever she's bullied or doesn't get what she wants, her mask of sanity slips a little and you get a glimpse of the really selfish bitch underneath. I think one of the reasons it was so easy for Marcie to point a gun at Viki was that she still harbored some deep resentment for the way Viki tore her a new one when Hayes snatched Natalie and it gave her a little payback for all the "I'm so sorry, Mrs. Davidson" groveling she did.
