I think that's one of my problems with Vanessa. I don't know her personality well from earlier in the show so when she does this with Dinah, or allows her family to think she's dead, it's jarring because I don't expect sweet Vanessa to do that haha.
LOL at your #FreeVanessa campaign :) I totally get your side after you lay out those facts too. It would be so much easier for me to hate Matt if he weren't so charming and handsome (I know, I know haha).
Sanctimonious men on soaps makes my blood boil too, which is why Josh irritates the crap out of me when he gets all huffy and puffy. AMC had a few of my favorite characters that got that way towards the end of its run - Tad, Ryan, Jackson. It's annoying.

Actually, it does kind of explain the weirdness about top / bottoms that seem to exist in his work. Obviously, if you penetrate, you're straight. If you're a bottom, you just take it up the butt (what?). Either way I think he needs serious therapy because that's just messed up. And maybe step away from Grindr.

It was such a weird reveal because it wasn’t from a singular thing Roger did or even anything particularly recent, and Billy doing it in a drunken rage just made the whole thing more about Billy being a hothead drunk than Roger facing consequences for his actions.
I think for Roger to see the light they needed someone he cared about to be hurt/die as a direct result of his actions, though he’s so skilled at believing his own lies he’d find a way to shift the blame most likely.

ICAM about shootings. And honestly, if Jordan Clarke had still been in the role, Billy wouldn't have even gone to jail. No doubt Roger would've faked the entire thing and framed Billy to try and get access to Peter.

Frank was shot by accident during academy training to cause two days of friction with Eleni over becoming a cop.
I guess AM’s character does lend itself to peril both good and bad sides of him-he’s arrogant, impulsive, and prone to go full Spaulding when cornered but has something of a white knight complex as well where he’ll put himself in harm’s way. I was amused watching the scenes where the Spauldings are awaiting word on the Lucy/AM yacht and Phillip is openly annoyed with Alan for praising AM for bravery with going to the lighthouse solo while Phillip sees him as being a reckless idiot who does it for attention. (It’s too bad both the writing was terrible when GA first returned and RH left, as there was potentially interesting stuff to mine with Phillip/AM as adults.)
