I couldn't stand to watch the JR/Adam stuff, I can't stand to listen to JR being a raging as$hole to Adam after all Adam's done for him

I think that's why I enjoyed ALL 3 couples that were showcased on Friday. No outside interference was one, and that those 4 weren't on. I wonder if Cam isn't on as much cause of that new game show he's doing?

I liked the whole episode, too. The Tad/Dixie stuff was a lot better than I thought it would be. I never liked Dixie, but I didn't mind her at all today. The only sore spot in it for me was seeing Krystal talking to Tad. At least she was trying to get him to come back for his daughters[she could have said children, though...um Jamie] and not for her.

Very good show. The editing was a little off. The inconsistencies in the editing and in the writing was always been one of the shows problems for me. I feel like I'm watching "All My Children" one day and "scab-All My Children" the next. It should flow better by now. Oh well, I could on complaining but won't. Those are really minor details compared to how good the episode was today.

LOVED the Tad/Dixie story on Friday! They were fun, funny, romantic, full of chemistry! Just the way I remember them! Now if only tiic would really understand what we want, instead of giving us what THEY want! A REAL LIVE return of Dixie, for me, would be the only way to rectify their horrific mistake from a year and a half ago.

    • I wonder if less set use was preparing for the move. They probably were preparing for this for awhile now
    • The early part of the season is decent. After that, Season 9 is probably one of the worst seasons until season 13. Season 10 is a little worse.    That would have made sense, even if it cost us one of my favorite scenes (Ben putting Lilliemae in a headlock). That's an excellent storyline and leads to the show's last strong season finale.
    • The TVC Studio 31 that they used for 38 years was only about 13,730 sq ft., according to the TVC website specs: https://televisioncityla.com/stages-offices/ Sunset Las Palmas Studios has 11 sound stages, which go up to 20,000 sq ft., though we're yet to learn which of those sound stages will house B&B. Depending on which one, the specs for it can be found here: https://www.sunsetstudios.com/los-angeles/las-palmas-studios/ Sound Stages 4, 5 and 9 are available for use starting September 1, 2025. It's unclear if either of those stages would be used by B&B since they begin production there starting Tuesday, August 19, 2025, which would be before the date shown on the website, but we shall see. Of those three sound stages, only Sound Stage 4 and 5 make sense since they are larger than the specs the show had at TVC, while 9 is quite smaller.  Sound Stage 4 would be the best option overall for B&B since it has 18,819 sq ft., the largest individual sound stage at the lot - Stage 3 and Stage 8 share space, which combined makes the space 19,900 sq ft. --- Forgot to add, unless there was an issue with storing the sets, the changes at TVC should have had no issue with production on the show, resulting in fewer set use as there has been no movement in terms of construction that would impact either show (B&B/Y&R). Of the 2-3 times I've been at the studio, the most recent for Don Diamont's 40 years at CBS, it was the most dead I had ever seen the space, but that could be due to vacations, holidays, or the preparation of the B&B move.
    • I didn't post about it in the BtG thread as I still don't watch the show (an hour runtime is just too much for me right now with a new soap I can't just mostly skip through) but I can't imagine the ego of someone who is hired as a breakdown writer and decides to [!@#$%^&*] their own name all over the show. Classless beyond belief. Any writer who cares more about masturbatory behavior than quality of work should not be hired.
    • Yeah, it would've made things more tightly woven.
    • I like Chelsea and Madison. Two very pretty black women as a potential couple. But I really wish this show would've showcased two very handsome black men as a couple instead.
    • I didn't even think of roasters from GH

Maybe this roast will take even more than two years
    • Irna wasn't involved with ATWT at the time of Neil's death, was she? I'm imagining a situation where right after his latest doctor's appointment, he's killed.
    • The Cruise of Deception was the first thing that came to mind when I mentioned that Brady might take after that side of the family
    • We all knew that TT is busy so if she's off screen for a bit except for phone calls and/or visits.. then it is what is. Ashley was nicely used as support... which the writers should have been doing since day 1 so that viewers could understand why exactly she's on the show LOL Chelsea/Madison.... seems too good to be true... we shall see. Shanice as a PT... if it means more airtime.. I'm good.
