I think Van is good, better than a lot thats for sure, but not great.

Jake is blah. Hes just there. He reads his lines and does okay, but no emotion is put into it.

If Lily Snyder was just another character who'd been on the show for a couple of years, Noelle would be fine in the role. She's beautiful and talented and working her ass off - and doing a good job.

Unfortunately, we're talking about LILY. The character that, for better or worse, is the most recognizable and iconic character on that show at the moment (one could also argue Lisa Grimaldi is bigger than Lily, but she's been on the outskirts for so many years, I just can't see her that way). Martha may not have had the dynamic presence that, say, Maura has, or the sophistication of Colleen Zenk-Pinter. But she was vital and valuable in a way that nobody else on that show is, except maybe Liz Hubbard. There's nothing offensive or insulting about anything Noelle is doing, but she's just not Lily, and every time she's on the screen, although it isn't her fault, her mere presence just shines a light on the insane ego that's running that show into the ground.

Unfortunately, I don't count to that ego, and it won't ever see this post.

I understand what you're saying....she's your Lindsay Frost.

I actually think Beck is bringing another dimension to Lily. As bad as this recast could have been (Christina Chambers as Molly, anyone?) it's a pleasant surprise.

Come back from the dark side....we have cookies. :D
Brownies would be MUCH better(if you know what I mean) :rolleyes:B)

So...the fact it makes no sense, looked like it was shot all on one block, and featured the InTurn wasn't enough to make you groan out loud? Really? I was getting nauseous at the extreme close ups of Luke's distraught face from minute one.

Those scenes look like TIIC didn't want to pay for a filming permit and decided to use a hand held camera to escape getting caught. Why go to Times Square and then not show any of it???

But, I think I was right...Winston is using Ameera to leverage his future. That's the only possible reason she'd be important to him.

IA-- Where was Colonel Mustard holding Ameera captive anyway (on 43rd St)??? There is no way she just happened to run into Luke out in the street like that because at any given minute there are, what, 10 zazillion people in the streets of NYC.

OH THE CONTINUITY.

Sophie? Someone give the woman a protein shake! I won't say it was the best break with reality I've ever seen, but considering I hate the story, it wasn't bad. The scene where she messed up the room was unintentially hilarious though.

Paul..."I didn't lead you on..." NICE rewrite of history, jerkoff. Bull, he led her on plenty, cozying up to her on the dance floor to make Meg jealous. He just didn't think she was a certifiable fruit loop. And considering he's used to dumping women at the altar and stealing their baby before getting them sent to the nearest mental health facility, I guess he didn't expect her to crack so easily.

I like Janet. I think she's fun. I wish she wasn't written as such a schmuck/loser.

Someone needs to calm Liberty down though. She is getting to the nails/chalkboard stage for me.

I loved Lindsay Frost as Betsy. :D

And I love her. She seems to guest star on every show. But she wasn't cute, quirky Betsy to me. :D

Oye...today's show was awful. I ff most of the show. I saw all of 10 minutes. The show is in the pits. The previews for next week looked just as bad or worse. My eyes started  when I saw the Carly/Holden preview. <_< The whole preview of next week was bad.
