The mystery woman arrives at the Harmony Herald office, where a reporter works late. She asks him to run an ad to “announce a murder,” a black tie affair happening at the Crane mansion on New Year’s Eve. Though wary of the strange woman, the reporter agrees to put it in the newspaper. He asks if it’s a parlor game, but the woman ominously hints that there will be real bloodshed.

I agree. I have only been watching Passions for about 10 months so I may not know all of the history but Alistair needs to pay for his crimes. Also, some of the long held secrets need to come out and move the story forward! Let Ethan know what Rebecca and Gwen did already. Let Sam and Grace know what Ivy and Kay are hiding already. Is Chad Julian and Eve's son or isn't he? Etc,etc......

Hmm. I wonder if they plan to use this Passions Red thing to explain Julian's shooting and Alistair's cigar being poisoned, thus answering two of the most irritating (at least to me) lingering questions.

I don't think they have to go back that far, but I'm all for a reset.

And since it's a show with a couple of witches they could totally pull that off, even without beating Theresa to death. Though I'd like to see that (I'm no hater- I just wanna see it).

I like it but, really, would a newspaper REALLY advertise a murder? I would think the reporter would have an ethical obligation to go to the authorities!
