I can't help but wonder. The Jesse/Angie return story that B&E wanted to tell ended last Friday. The breakdown and script writers names returned this Monday. Anne Sweeney was in NYC the day the writers returned to work.

I wonder if the writers refused to work for B&E since they crossed the picket lines and ABC had to bring in interim consultants, etc. in order to get Walsh, Beall, Beldner, etc. to return to work.

I could see them refusing to work with B&E. I can't imagine any of them being happy that B&E were working while they were out striking. Things must be really strained if so...

I hadn't realized she was in NYC the day the writers returned to work. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Plus with the show being somewhat better with the rest of the writer's back, I think something is definitely up...

Annie has done a complete 180

I have gone from really disliking her to being in awe of this woman. She is now laying it out for Ryan and Greenlee as to how sick and twisted both of them have been over his amnesia issues. Now, don't get me wrong...I like Greenlee but I also love it when someone tells it to her like it is. Annie was right in everything she commented on today so I say bravo to Annie! You tell her the truth and nothing else! :)

I sure hope you're right. Is it wrong of me to want Annie and Kendall to just trap her in an elevator and just beat her? Id love to see ehr catch Aidan lockign lips with Annie and at the same time find out he screwed Kendall. The bitch thinks too highly of herself to ever think a man would dare step out on her. She's not all that!

    • It does, and I don't get it. This feels like Josh Griffith's middle finger to fans. They're end game, right? That's how most people feel. So what reason could there be to keep them apart? Are we supposed to wait until Y&R is canceled and then see them reunite in the last month? Joshua Morrow and Sharon Case have FIRE chemistry with each other -- and they strain to have any chemistry at all with anyone else. Isn't that obvious by now? I can't explain it, but we've all seen it. A decent writer could give us Shick AND good stories with them.
    • Ben Collins, CEO of the company that owns The Onion, says they don't use A.I.
    • As long as Kent and Griffith are in charge, the show is doomed.
    • To clarify, they didn't really date.  They pretended to be on a date once or twice due to a an interest in fooling someone else at the event/restaurant/whatever.  It wasn't planned by them to be real.   I think one of them became sort of interested at some point ?
    • A shame the Ben/Thomasina tease didn't go anywhere.  I didn't know until last year that they brought Thomasina back a few days before Quinn was murdered. I guess it's nice that they got those last moments of happiness but then you remember they never would have brought her back if they weren't going to kill Quinn off.
    • Very. It's VERY annoying, too.
    • I just remember Kristina coming on to her slightly and val freaking out
    • Not trying to be a contrarian, but I don't think the show needs a rival family.  Rival families have been over-done on soaps since the 1980s. And it might make the show too predictable.  I'd prefer they beef-up the have-not group with perhaps a couple of workers from the Country Club and one or two Dupree servants, joining the existing group of have-nots.  They could all know one another without being a real "family."  That would give the audience more opportunity to see Fairmont Crest life from the "backstairs."  To me this would be a far more interesting perspective than another wealthy family to rival the Duprees.
    • I wonder if that's why Valerie quit. I think some of the magazines at the time implied issues with Valerie and the producer, although I may be wrong. Painting Diana as going bad would have made more sense to me near the end of her run.
    • Carter & Thomasina were also stuck with a baby almost immediately and didn't get much to do after they finished high school. Carter's father was killed off and Marley drifted out of their friend group because of Jake. They left town after Carter's father died (of tomb dust!) and before Quinn died (unreasonably murdered by the Sin Stalker for dating Zack Edwards).
