Maurice's (Sonny) contract is up this summer and he isn't sure how negotiations will turn out. He says he's having fun, but he's in the middle of a lot of things - personally and professionally. 15 years in the same role and it takes a toll.

Didn't he sign a new contract in December of 2004? How can his contract be up this summer? Shouldn't it be up in December?

I say, if the demands of the role are becoming too hard on him, then MB should consider leaving. No, I'm serious. Put aside my antipathy toward Sonny Corinthos. Bipolar disorder is no joke. As much as his fans might (and will) miss him, if he doesn't take care of himself, then he isn't any good to anyone.
