Administrator Toups Posted January 14, 2008 Author Administrator Share Posted January 14, 2008 Woohooo for Tina Fey!! Tina winning is so "awse." I hope she can win Actress, Writing and Show at the next Emmys. Also, I think Tina's win is the only network win.....cable won everything else. I also liked Jeremey Piven winning for Entourage. I wanted Alec Baldwin or Steve Carrell for comedy actor and of course 30 Rock for comedy.
Members Laurie
I was disappointed. I was really rooting for Lee Pace, Anna Friel and Pushing Daisies. Golden Globe disappointment just piled up,for me, last night
Members stenbeck212
Mad Men kicked butt, and I was quite satisfied. Once again the major networks lose to cable in the ingenuity department.
Members KevC1980
The production value of this show was so lame...i watched like 10 minutes and just checked online for the winners...I'm happy for Tina Fey, Glenn Close, and Javier Bardem...But for the most part i'm kind of dissapointed in the winners..Would have liked to see Ellen Page and Juno win, and i'm really bummed that Michael C. Hall once again got overlooked....And i don't watch Extras, so i can't judge the show..But i'm tired of that show winning all the awards..Do our American shows beat out British shows in their awards????? and i just looked at the ratings and the show got 4th place in its time slot and between 5-7 million viewers...when it usually gets around 15 to 20 million...Hopefully this will help speed up the writers strike...Lets get this resolved before the Oscars.. Members Port Oak Valley
I agree with most of the winners the biggest shock to me was Queen Latifahs win, she was great in Life Support, but I had her third in my predicts behind Bryce Dallas Howard and Debra Messing. Members DevotedToAMC
Darn I do not watch pretty much any of the series that got nominations (only one for me was Edie Falco for The Sopranos since I watch that show)
