I don't give credit to Clinton, Bush, or any President for being responsible for Bin Laden's attack on 911, just as I give zero credit to Bush or the Democratic Congress for keeping us free of home attack since then. I hate when people pull this crap out of their a*s...

Reminds me of a joke:

Girl: What's that?

Guy: OH, that's Tiger Spray.

Girl: But there aren't any tigers here in NYC.

Guy: Works then, doesn't it?

Snap! Good one!

Just saw this on Yahoo.

Onus on McCain to turn race around

Here's an excerpt. Sounds like SSDD to me. He's been doing this since Day One.

Doesn't that sound interesting. Not.

It started the day after VP debate when Palin questioned Obama's experience. Today she was in Carson, Ca at the Home Depot center. She brought up Obama's relationship with Ayers whom she labeled as a domestic terrorist. Of course she neglected to give the real details of that relationship. I think Obama was 4 or 5 when the weatherman were around. It's going to be fear and smear from now on.

I'm sorry I don't know how to link but I really encourage you all to go to rollingstone.com and read the article Make-believe Maverick. It is very informative.

Any way Casey I'd like you to read it and give me your opionion of it.

GGL sorry about the ride in Florida, but there are some intense people out there.

Oh [!@#$%^&*]. This is just pathetic.

Palin hits Obama for "terrorist" connection

Are they serious?

"We see America as the greatest force for good in this world," Palin said at a fund-raising event in Colorado,

What is "good" about believing that gays and lesbians can be converted, Sarah?

What is "good" about having rape victims pay for their own rape kit, Sarah?

What is "good" about taking away a woman's right to choose, Sarah?

What is "good" about businesses tax breaks that would rather hire outside the US, Sarah?

What is "good" about unequal pay for women and minorites, Sarah?

What is "good" about executing innocent Americans, Sarah?

What is "good" about using up all of our natural resources without regard for future generations, Sarah?

What is "good" about writing discrimination into the Constitution, Sarah?

Ugh.

UCLAN, I believe you're right. It's strange that I was posting a link to the story when you made this post!

Don't be sorry about the link. I've posted it here for you. Let me know if this isn't the article you are referring to.

Make-Believe Maverick

Yeah, the ride sucked. My bf - bless his heart - so wanted to get into this game with them, but thankfully he listened to me and cooled off.

that's the one. thank you. read it and let me now what you think. I learned a few new things cause i believed the 2000 maverick stuff but, "say it ain't so Joe" it was just a ploy. McCain wants this presidency so bad, that he will do whatever it takes. I believe he is a man with no priciples.

I've experienced a couple of surreal rides but not because of political affiliations. And they happened here in Ca.

Cool. I tried to explain it the best I can, but like I said, our health care system is highly dependent on what your employer is offering to it's employees. I like the idea of a "point system" and being able to carry forward what you don't use one year into the next. It sounds very good to me.

The biggest problem here in the US is that if someone is not employed, they are dependent on the Medicare program which is wholly inadequate, IMHO. Unless someone is in a position to pay a little extra for secondary coverage, it doesn't work on any level.

As Wales explained, health costs as payroll deductions are not currently taxed. The costs are taken pre-tax, but McCain wants to change that wherein you are taxed for your payroll deductions, but he will give you a "tax credit" for the difference. He claims that you can then continue on with your employer's health plan, but will have the option to buy one on the open market if you so choose. I do not like the sound of it at all.

My health care is paid after tax, but I do get to claim 30% of what I pay when I do my taxes. I can do pretax, but there is some other tax involved if I do that.

With the 30% claim if I want I can have the my deductions reduced by 30% each pay but I chose to do it at tax time.

My employer has no say what's so ever in what cover I chose or what provider I am with. The only way they can say no is if that provider doesn't do payroll deductions.

They should include dental coverage in health care plans because I think dental problems sometimes contribute to health problems as well. I don't see why dental and vision is separate from some plans.

ITA Wales.

I have dental and vision on my private cover but not on medicare.

And there is Pharmacy as well for Meds. I hadn't realised that if any meds that I had to get that cost more that $30.60 I was able to claim back from my provider lol.

One other cool thing about my provider (and I think some others do it as well) is that they do have preferred doctor's, hospitals, dentist's etc that you can see, but that only means is that you get a little extra back or paid for. But since it is only a few dollar's as long as the doctor or whom ever does the job then that is ok by me.

If you want you can check out the provider that I am with and all the different levels they offer.

They also have home and care insurance.

He was 8 when the Weathermen were around. .

Ayers and Obama served on a school committee. As several news articles have pointed out, they barely knew each other. Ayers know is a college professor and the committee they served on was appointed by the mayor of Chicago and was about funding for public schools. It is another in McCain's scummy ads. You know, I think the Keating Five is becoming relevant.

It seems McCain was much much closer to Keating than Obama was to Ayers or the others that Rs like to bring up.

An ad that I would truly like to see is one from Obama saying that part of the change he will bring to Washington is ending the sleezy ads like those used by Bush/McCain.

What won't McCain do to win? How far will they take the scare tactics? Would they dare inject race into it?

If they do it may be along the lines of the Willie Horton ads when Dukakis ran for president. Covertly racist but mostly fear.

My appologies, everyone.

If that is the bullshit game Palin/McCain want to play, then let's do this.

That man has absolutely NO PLAN whatsoever for this country. Now, to quote another complete [!@#$%^&*].....

"The McCain campaign may be in the last throws......"

Oh, and one other thing, Casey.

I knew you wouldn't link to another article that proved CM was charged, convicted and sentenced because there IS NO ARTICLE stating as such.

Enjoy. :D

A little bit that was in one of our papers.

AUSTRALIANS are more favourable in their views of the US, increasingly wary of China and a large majority want Barack Obama to be next US President, the 2008 Lowy Institute Poll, released yesterday, says.
