Members Greg's GL
You are still the bomb, my friend. This queen is too much. So they didn't ask her the questions she wanted to hear? How biased of them! To think that we would actually like to hear her position on the issues or her experience? This world is so unfair. Oh GMAMFB. What is this "long line of questionable behavior"???? I'm still twiddling my thumbs waiting for this "October Surprise" that was alluded to a few weeks ago.... Members Wales2004
People ignore things about every person that has been elected to office so why shouldn't Obama supporters do the same thing for him? He hasn't been indicted. He hasn't been convicted of anything and there is no reason for him to be held to a higher standard than any other candidate. Everyone should be held to a high standard period.

Members Greg's GL
You can't be serious. First of all, the Rev. Wright should not be on that "list" because your own VP candidate isn't supposed to be questioned on her church, remember? Do you really want to open that can of worms? Secondly, it has been proven in this very thread that your candidate has more ties to Frannie and Freddie Mac than Obama does. Are you seriously using that as an argument? Lastly, I just have one word for you.... Troopergate. Oh, and I don't recall a response to the death penalty issue..... Snap!
Members UCLAN
Wow you amaze me. I know you can't "read" emotions, but I get the feeling you are anxiously and gleefully awaiting a "surprise" that is character based. If you don't like someone's policies, that's fine. But this negattive character stuff, I don't know. We all have people and relationships in our past that reeked of bad judgement. Even your boy McCain, Keating 5, womanizing, cheating on his first wife,. Heck Davis is/was on Fannies payroll just recently. I think that we grow and learn from our past mistakes. At least afford someone that. I could be wrong about this. I hope so. But you seem too invested in this "October Surprise" stuff.

Members Greg's GL
Before I sign off for the night, I just want to say something that's been on my mind the last few days. As far as politics go, I tend to err on the side of what's best for the common good, for humanity. What I feel is the best for all of us, rather than saving a few bucks on taxes (which seem to be the Repub's biggest argument, although it rings hollow for me). That is why I am supporting Barack Obama. And I'm very proud of that fact. It may seem simplistic to some, or non-sensical to others, but that's JMHO. The arguments presented thus far in this thread and in the MSM have not persuaded me one iota that John McCain has the interests of the greater good of the American people in his heart, whereas Obama has given me that impression. Not only through his speeches, but in his proposals if he were elected president. When all is said and done, what will be McCain's tagline if elected? I believe that it will be this. We may have a decimated Middle Class, but at least Big Business has tax breaks and Roe V. Wade has been overturned. What an accomplishment.
