The prolife peeps will have a fit. But he my give Biden a little run on World Affiars but Biden still has the middleclass stuff.

As far as the GOP peeps go his better than Joe L but not by much. His was going to get killed with Rommey , so Ridge is best choice he could make. Just means they will have to try and make Obama even more scary!

IA with this post after this article. (Its right on the money!)

Now you hate the media but when the media was pushing Obama at the expense of Hillary you were fine with it. Can't have it both ways. The fact is those Greek columns are ridiculous. The fact is there is no love between the Clintons and the Obamas. The fact that in order for people to get into tonight's event they have to give up their cell phone number and/or other contact information so Obama can hit them up for contributions. It's appalling but it's true. These are facts whether they're on MSNBC, the network that loves Obama or Fox, the network that doesn't.

What the hell are those things behind GWB, Casey?! This was the scene when he agreed to take his nomination in 2000!

I just love someone who can tell me what I love and don't love. You say you want an honest, civil debate, and then you make a post like this proving the exact opposite.

I had some respect for you. HAD now being the opprotive word.

Oh, and one more thing.......please find out what you're talking about first before telling me what I like or don't like.

Thank you very much. :)

I think the majority of us realize that the pundits need all this "talk" so that viewers keep watching. While I agree that Obama got slightly more positive press than Clnton in the primaries, that's definetly not the case now. As a matter of fact it has been reported that approximately 70% of his press is negative compared to about 58% for McCain. The Huff post article is right on. The standards are quite different. In my opinion, the standard is set extremely high for one candidate versus another.

A stage is a stage. That's what is set up at Mile High Stadium. In all the conventions I've watched (and I've watched many), the stage is always similiar. I think it's done to set a tone of statesmanship. It's a very trivial point and it amazes me that it's all over the cable news.

Like I posted before CSPAN, no commentators, no commercials. Watch and form your own opinion.

In terms of the money and the cell phone thing. Well, you have to fund these things some way and guess what, you can say NO.

The Clintons/Obama's are working things out and it's just KILLING the Repugs.

When Obama gets into the White House you can bet Hillary will do very well for herself. If Mrs.Obama has her way Hillary will be getting a job for life on the High Court!

If all the GOP can come up with is to bash the arena this history making event is happenign in they TRULY need to go away and try another day!

BTW i'm watching Stevie Wonder sing and he RULES!

Nothing you've said changes the fact that the media coverage is biased and ridiculous.

Most of them just latch on to the first stupid thing they hear and repeat it over and over as if it will make it credible.

I don't care for the media even though I listen and watch. I am more keenly aware of their efforts to influence the public instead of reporting facts (excluding those who are paid to give their opinions). I don't need to hear Charles Gibson whining over McCain's fund raising disadvantage or Tom Brokaw making it seem as if being a POW makes it that a candidate is excused from running a mature campaign, being attacked on his political stance, and from saying anything than promoting war.

When the media does decide to report facts it's the kind of nonsense that isn't going to do anything for anyone. Are the columns that important? People are better off watching CSPAN and skipping the crap unless they can put it in its proper perspective.

    • Natalia worrying about her dress getting dirty during her DUI arrest had to be a reference to Haley Pullos and the $400 shirt.   The birth scene was really good. It could have been OTT but wasn't. There was this great moment was Michael was talking about how he's seen every sonogram and been with her all the way where it registered with Willow that he's been extremely involved with this and she had no idea but then couldn't say anything because she's obviously cheating too. And then they acknowledged each other and he actually thanked her. It was very humanizing for both characters.
    • This show treats Claire like a glorified extra prop not the granddaughter of the 2 biggest supercouples this show has ever had. I don't think was ever invested in Claire nor writing for her & her connections to majority of the town. What a waste of a legacy character with so much potential
    • Kim Zimmer could have had a nice career as a supporting actress in Hollywood, but that does not appear to be what she wanted. That's fine, but in the eighties, she was not going to have many options as a leading actress. The eighties were brutal for a performer like her.  Her one big film role lasted a minute or two. Even while she was on GL, she should have been doing episodic television. Was her agent that incompetent or was she just bad at auditioning? Her episode of "Designing Women" was quite popular and was discussed at the time for its subject matter, but she never followed up on it. It's bizarre to me.
    • Billy just showed up for Vanessa's memorial (Sept 9, '96), which is so nice!  My first time seeing him like this outside of random clips from the past. He's out of jail for 24 hours, so not long. It's good to see him with the family.
    • Definitely was more recent than not; when the set originally returned, the change hadn't happened.
    • It was nice seeing Victorias house and I see it’s been remodelled. I’m sure this happened awhile ago but since I tuned out from the show for so long I am only noticing it now. Looks beautiful though!  Also, Billy and Sally gross me out so much. I don’t know what it is I hate so much about them. They give me the ick. Definitely a mismatch. I don’t buy that these people would be attracted to eachother in real life much less have a relationship..

    • Also, isn’t there supposed to be a storyline with Mariah and Tessa? Mariah cheating or something (keeping some kind of secret) and they were only on screen 2 and 3 times this month. Like what? How am I supposed to care when I barely see them?
    • Definitely wouldn't trust Dinah right now haha.  But that's great to know Billy comes back soon!  I'm excited for that. If he's at the boardinghouse, then I guess he does get closer to Nola perhaps, and then he'll be around Peter/Bridget and J, who is currently in his orbit along with Michelle and Dahlia, and Marcus is at the boardinghouse, so maybe they go the teenage story route most of this time until Billy gets back.
    • Sounds like me, but I prefer to be referred to as Contessa. We all know I can go a long time not paying attention to certain things.  And, if I might add, hey there dude, you effed up pretty good this time and I think this was your last chance. So don't let the door hit you in your behind as you go BYE MOMMY!
