Obama's VP?

Definitely not Hillary, although I hope she has a role in an Obama administration.

My picks would be either Evan Bayh or John Edwards, or Wes Clarke.

So anyone think Nunn and Bayh traveling with Obama is a sign of who he's strongly considering for VP?

Personally Bayh is at the top of my list of most likely right now. He's been very quiet throughout this whole process and even though he was a huge Hilary supporter I still like him as VP. Plus he never came across as a horrible person like Hilary.

Nunn could cost Obama major gay votes!

Did anyone else see Jesse jackson on GMA this morning, this fool had a cellphone to his ear during the whole interview. I don't buy his apology and I still think that he is jealous of obama.

Fox News are now claiming that Rev.Jackson used the N-word during his Obama attack. If that's the case why didn't they use it before now?

Many of Obama's peeps would to see him put Hillary on the High Court and get her out of his hair and the hair of whoever he picks for VP.

She would drive the Rightwingers INSANE!

I'm actually glad fox news is putting Rev. Jackson out to pasture, its about time someone did. Its time for a changing of the guard. If this is indeed true Jackosn is a damn hypocrite, he was breathing down the rapper nas's throat about naming his album the N-word(which I didn't like, and he has since changed the title) and he has the nerve to use that word.

Is Nunn anti gay?

If so then he's decreased significantly in my list. I didn't know that lil fact...

However I'm pretty sure Evan Bayh is all right.

Nunn was one of main reasons we got stuck with DADT (He now says that maybe after all kinds of studies gays could maybe be allowed to serve theirr Country) He also admitts that he fired aids because they were gay.

The gays do NOT want Nunn to be VP!

Plus IMO it's kind of hard to say McCain is too old when your VP is 69 years old.

I'm thinking it might be Bayh too. I thought it would be Biden, but now I'm leaning toward it being Bayh. I'm betting Nunn is being considered for Defense.

I was going to make a comment but I thought it wise to ask what do you mean by a changing of the guard?

Ouch! That letter makes a good point.

Jessie Jackson is coming off as terribly jealous.

  • Member

I'm over Jesse Jackson. I never took him that seriously to begin with.

I'm more focused on the present and the future. I really hope Obama is close to picking his VP. I just want it to be over with so we can analyze it and make sure he picked a decent person.

I can tell Biden is just ITCHING for the chance to be unleashed on this campaign. He'd make mince meat out of John McCain I think from a security standpoint as well credibility and knowledge of all issues.

^^^GHJunki4Life, I'm from the younger generation and I've never understood all the fuss over Jackson. Just because he was one of MLK's right hand men doesn't make him a good leader. He has done too many things to turn me off such as being a race-bater, suggesting ebonics be taught in school(that one really made me laugh and mad), running a laughable presidential campaign, and now being jealous of the first potential AA president.

I was going to make a comment but I thought it wise to ask what do you mean by a changing of the guard?

What I meant was that obama will be taking over as a prominent black leader, and getting rid of the awful wanna be current one jackson. An before you say it yes. Obama will be for all americans but he will also be a black leader, someone for African Americans to look up to and be proud of.
