Seating half won't work because the other half will feel inferior to not being seated...and I am talking about counting the popular vote in both states

  • Member
No. They should seat half the delegates for both as a penalty and that's it.

Exactly. That is only fair.

That other stuff is bullshit.

  • Member

I don't see them seating half the delegates that were awarded to both Hillary and Obama since it would make it out to be that one half is superior and eligible to be seated. The other half will be reacting like crazy to be seated and they won't like the backlash (The DNC). Then, the only way to settle it is to seat them as is.

Now we have to figure out what to do with the delegates in the "other" column

Half were seated in the GOP and there is no talk about that nor any talk about anyone feeling inferior. Their penalty was that half their delegates would count and that was that and quite generous considering that none should have been seated.

There are probably people in both states who could care less about delegates being seated period.

There are millions who care about seating the delegates...and that is the GOP seating half. We do things differently in the Democrat Party

But you know the play.

Those who want them seated as is want that so HRC can steal the nom she doesn't deserve.

They won't say that one.

Just keep using your real math, Wales. :)

If they seat some delegates from MI and FL, she deserves the nomination since she will lead in the popular vote...and the people come first

I will. I will.

Have you any new potential vp candidates?

I'm still going with Bill Richardson.

I also have to take another look at Gen. Wesley Clark.

I heard speculation on a news program that she might want to broker a convention speaking spot one night for her and one night for Bill.

I think that would be only fair and I think she would get that. Maybe she is looking for a way out that would give her some form of dignity. I hope so.

But you know who is EXTREMELY outside the box?

Sen. Chuck Hagel.

She can keep her dignity if she stops thios madness after June 3rd.

Any longer.......

Or this speaking at the convention could be enough to persuade Superdelegates or just get her on the ticket as vice president :)

Either ticket (Obama/Hillary or Hillary/Obama) works for me. But I want them two running together because they are the best one to win

But you know who is EXTREMELY outside the box?

Sen. Chuck Hagel.

Oh how I love Chuck Hagel. He has been great in going after the horrific GOP people lately

Let's keep hope alive

I was thinking that myself. I'd love to see the real short list.

Oh, Wales, you know I am keeping hope alive that Hillarack is the ticket! :)

I like that you like Chuck Hagel. He is a good man

I think CH would be a nice pick because it would show that he could Moderate Conservatives and work with them.

Other than those I named:

Evan Baye

Charles Dodd

Joseph Biden.

That's it. No others on that short list.
