It's not HIS bill. He voted for it but that doesn't make it HIS. If it does, then any bill that he's ever voted yes to would make them his, which would defeat the argument that he hasn't been part of anything.

Now, many of us have posted links time and again and we have debated Obama's stance on the issue. But McCain's stance seems to be absent from these discussions.

Okay, now this is where the community and school board members step in, working with local and state agencies, like local law enforcement.

And, Roman, programs already exist in most communities teaching kindergarteners how to protect themselves against predators. So why, again, did Barry H. wanna legislate sex-ed for kindergarteners? A sex-ed program isn't needed to educate children in methods to protect against a predator... unless you think it's important, Roman, to teach them why the bad man's penis grows, etc.

I don't think kindergarteners need to know about that from their teacher... do you?

How do Republicans not fund the treasury? They call for lower taxes, not an abolishment of taxes.

I feel it would be patriotic to ensure every class, including the class that provides jobs, benefit from tax breaks during tough economic times. Obama/Biden stance seems to be more "middle-classotic" than patriotic. They dont care about this country, they are trying to please the largest group by taxing the evil rich...its all about votes.

McCain wants to do what's best for the entire nation, not just the largest socioeconomic class!

It's ALWAYS about lower taxes. Bush lowers taxes, the new Republican will want to lower them further, and the next further, etc. They're never okay.

I'm not one of the ones whining that he hasn't authored anything important. But people are connecting him to this sex-ed bill, but the only connection is that he voted for it. So if you're counting this bill as one of his because of that, then there's a huge list of "his" bills.

McCain doesn't have or need a stance. Sex education is something that is selected and developed at local levels. Obama is the only candidate that has stepped into that territory.
