Thanks for not taking my question and not making it into a battle of the parties. After reading a few articles that said McCain gave in to the religious rignt, I was curious as to whether anyone thought the religious right had a grip on the Republican party.

I don't care about the tit for tat stuff and I don't feel like having exchanges with anyone who's going to throw the other party in my face. For example, does the fact that McCain cheated on his wife negate the fact that Edwards cheated on his? Am I supposed to care what radical groups may have taken over the Democrats' party when I asked about the Republicans?

Oh and IA with you on George W. Despite his shortcomings as an executive, he's brought some humor into the position.

If you dont like they way your question was answered and you have specific guidelines as to how you would like it answered, please specify that in your question. I would like to better accommodate your preferences in the future so that we may continue to try to avoid making this personal and rather a geniune debate on the issues.

You know, I have always thought he was a good guy, some cat you could sit down and have a bear with.

But it has always seemed to me that he just didn't want to be president. With the time he spent in Crawford, that said to me that he wanted to be home more than in D.C.

I had heard that William F. Buckley had felt the party had lost its way. I think he may be right......and that doesn't exclude the Democrats, who until the last two years were just weak on alot of things.

I didn't visit the site but there is creative wording and then there's flat out lying. It doesn't matter if she didn't say she sold it on eBay (even though the intent was to mislead) when she still lied about selling it for a profit. The sad thing about this is why make up the lie in the first place? What does that even have to do with running for a higher office?

It's a fact that both parties use creative wording which is many times misleading, but in addition to that McCain engages in the politics of fear which I find reprehensible. And now he has his sidekick lying. He may not be responsible for the lies that other members of his party are telling but to the extent that he doesn't attempt to curtail it then he is just as bad.

The ranking system has many many flaws. But on the bright side for my team--they benefited from beating a team to which they were seven point underdogs.

CF is most interesting at bowl time.

I never thought that there were that many Clinton supporters who were still angry and would go over to McCain. The ones who do must have more in common with him than with Clinton since that would be a radical jump. And if they say they are voting for him because they are mad at their party then that is truly silly. Palin and Clinton are not interchangeable so if the mission of those supporters was to boost a woman then backing McCain-Palin makes sense.

I guess now it's Joe Biden who hasn't done anything either. I read this quote on CNN.com where Palin is criticizing him but I don't get her point.

I had no idea he'd been sitting in Washington doing nothing all these years. At least she;s not a religious conservative since I would hope they don't believe in lying.

    • Figured it was something like that. It's just feels weird that Will came back to see John but he's not gonna be at his funeral but

    • Bill convinced the Governor to pardon Luna. Steffy was too busy badmouthing Hope & Brooke for most of the Spring to concern herself with such trivial matters.
    • There hasn't been a media blackout, there's been live coverage on national news all weekend.
    • There's been something of a media blackout, but beyond that the only reason it's getting any attention is because Trump and the Republicans and their sycophants in the press are trying to create riots to pave the way for martial law.  And of course all the people who care more about setting fires and destroying property than anything else are happy to help them.  I've seen more interest in people arguing about whether or not they should be waving Mexican flags and how American flags are tainted than I have in the cause, which just reinforces what a malaise we are in. Many who claim to care about immigration only care to the tips of their fingers, just like Palestine and the rest. But these policies what people voted for. As long as they personally aren't affected, they are eating all this decimation up.
    • I was happy to see Caroline again even in one short scene. This was her first appearance since April 3. I was wondering why we haven't seen her, since Hayley desperately needs a talk-to aside from Bill.  I am also wondering where Jacob's partner is. Does Marcel have an opinion on Jacob spending so much time on the Laura case? Especially since Marcel warned Jacob about allowing his family to get in the way of police business. I liked seeing some vulnerability from Leslie today when she begged Eva to give her the helmet and gloves back. I'm still wondering how she will get out of the corner she has been written into. When we were first introduced to Leslie, she seemed like she might be a Machiavelli but since then it's clear that she more of a haphazard villainess doesn't seem to have a long term plan aside from causing random chaos.  Chelsea's desperation is cringeworthy but I actually think it's fairly realistic for someone who is closeted or newly out.
    • Not to mention Leslie has made a formal complaint and requested a restraining order so there is a trail of her acknowledging that Kat is doing the most and basically harassing her. I bet that bites her in the butt   It truly is. Chelsea is 23 and doc has to be at least 30. She has too much to lose so I don't see why she'd even bother considering an immature social media girl thats already showing signs of acting unstable. She knows who she is so she knows all the mess surrounding her such as filming her mother shooting a gun at a wedding, not to mention the recent drama with her WORK colleagues, Ted and Niicole. Madison needs to not get involved with a daughter from that family. It just reeks o mess that could impact her professionally
    • I'm really sure now that Leslie is going to skate on the charges now that Kat stupidly broke in and planted the evidence. At this point Jacob probably won't even being able to tie that helmet and gloves back to Leslie because it's been moved around too much.
    • Seriously Drew is scum. Does he actually even love Willow or does he just like having someone he can control?!
    • Having them interact so much now has been such a treat. My new favorite duo. The desperation is such a turn off.
