The one thing that did help was having read Austin's comment in the last SOW where he said sometimes he, Michael, Maura and Terri get a script and say this is so silly and so they just try to have fun with it. In fact I think this was some of the scenes he said the audience would find a lot of fun. I'm now convinced that whatever the writers are smoking, they have finally shared with the actors

Well, the actors don't really have a choice. If there was any resistance in their performances, the show would suck even more than it does now. In their minds they could pretend it's all a bad production from a high school drama club. When is the audience going to start sending cans to ATWT, Susan Batten style?

There's still a viewer feedback line? 10 years ago they advertised the hell out of that, but now they need it more than ever and don't. I wouldn't want to listen to the comments. Imagine the profanity.

I remember that...lol. Tell us what you think....hahaha...I remember them doing that back in the day in their ending credits.

I called a couple months back and the person that answered was really nice and said she would write it in the book that the comments go in and let them know. I figured it was worth a shot.

I didn't realize someone actually picked up the phone. I thought it was automated. You never know what they're writing on the other end, anyway.

What can the actors do except try to have fun with the crap they are given. I feel bad for both Maura and TC. Carly never gets to learn from a mistake and she never gets free from Jack's self rightousness. Meanwhile Katie is between a popular couple with a thin story to back her up.

I'd kill to see Carly move on with someone who is more fun and a schemer.

How long has it been that Katie was with Mike? Seriously, talk about moving fast into another relationship. Katie should have been backburned. Instead we got too much of her and CarJack was ruined in the process. Which makes me real mad!!

MIKE hasn't even been gone a year (and to think...I salivated at Mark Collier's departure. Sal. I. vated.)

Katie has screwed four men (Simon, Mike, Jack and soon Brad) in thirteen months (Nov 06-Dec 07). She's ended three marriages (two divorces, one annulment) in two and a half years. And unfortunately, I don't really see Katie being "backburned" any time soon. But getting her out of Carjack's orbit would certainly be just as good, IMO.

Preach it!! Every soap writer should be given a calander before they start the job. Note it is not 1957, it is 2007 morons!! Soaps aren't just for housewives anymore.

I give ATWT credit for at least having Nuke. If you want baby overload check out AMC, where most of the show revolves around two kids under 2.

I would say yes that she ended. Sure Mike left her but even after she slept with Simon he gave her a 2nd chance and then she hid the letter she got from Simon and Mike found it on his own. When your spouse gives you a 2nd chance and you screw up again, I think you take the blame for the end of the marriage.

Again Henry was the one who left, but was it asking too much that he wanted her to really love him? She pretended she did but Henry knew he was only 2nd best to Mike and the marriage was a farce. I credit Katie for the end of that one too since she never should have married him in the first place. She was just using Henry.

As far as the annulment, I can totally understand her anger that Jack slept with Carly but we also know how close she came to sleeping with Brad. While she always begged for 2nd chances, that is something she wouldn't give to Jack when he begged. So yes I think she ended that also.

Hell yeah "she ended". "Cycled through". "Tore through like a child overdosed on sugar on Xmas morning." Take your pick. I didn't really assign blame to the ending of those marriages, even though I'd defiinitely fault her in both Henry's and Mike's cases. She's the one who deigned to sleep with Henry, knowing he didn't expect anything out of that marriage, and she obviously cheated on Mike with Simon. (LOL...she spent her "second chance with Mike, obsessing over jailing Simon...) And while she's not really at fault in the annulment, she certainly took the driver's seat in pushing the legalities, with Tom's help.
