Members Khan
Well, if she's rewriting the Unabortion (and it makes sense!), then I'll cut her a little slack...maybe.
Members Chris B
AMC has horrible luck with HWs, so even if it's official that B&E are out, I can't get my hopes up. With the luck of AMC, they'll be replaced with Ellen Weston. As I've said before, passing up Kay Alden spoke volumes about ABCD and the way they run things. We actually heard KA with her own mouth gush and gush about AMC and all the research she'd done and the passion we heard in her voice. If that and her record wasn't good enough, nothing is. The show should be re-titled Pine Valley, because it's a poorly done spin-off, not the show soap fans fell in love with for 30+ years. If anything, we'll get a slightly improved version of McTavish's vision for AMC. *That* is AMC in Frons' mind.
Members DevotedToAMC
That is the problem so Penny can go back into hiding for now
Members Khan
Thing is, rewriting the Unabortion isn't that hard to do. Greg Madden could've altered the DNA tests on Josh to keep everyone from uncovering "the truth." But, Erica needs a son, and Colin's got well-toned buttocks, so the madness continues. Members DevotedToAMC
We will give her a couple more weeks to think up a scenario and by that time it should be written like a Shakespeare play. For now, though, her royal highness gets to go back to the castle for the time being to be locked away in the dungeon
Members skiman12082004
I know I am definitely in the minority here, but I actually enjoy the work of Barbara Esensten, James Harmon Brown and Julie Hanan Carruthers. I was a HUGE fan of Port Charles when they were at the helm and I have decided to add All My Children to my daily viewing schedule. BE & JHB have only been writing the show since July so I think they have finally started to get themselves acclimated with the show. I am going to support AMC and its creative team until I find the show boring or unwatchable, but I am not at that point so I plan on enjoying it however long that last. Members skiman12082004
If one of the three looked like Colin Egglesfield then you may have a point.
Members Khan
But maybe you are sleeping with Colin Egglesfield and you're just ensuring his job security.
Members DevotedToAMC
LOL I have heard Egglesfield might be on the chopping block because his airtime has been dramatically reduced since B&E came on board....I hope he does not go because I really like Josh but they still need to rewrite the unabortion. That is where our beloved friend with the name Penny comes into play
Members Khan
In all honesty, DevotedToAMC, I'm ambivalent about Josh and about Colin. Colin appears eager enough; and you know, he isn't the worst actor in daytime, or on AMC. (Not by a long shot, lol.) I only question whether he serves an actual purpose on the show. Aside from the male pulchritude (sp?), what good is he? One thing's for sure, though: like you said, they need to rewrite the unabortion. Not just b/c of the scientific implausibilites, but b/c, the mother/son chemistry that is supposed to be there between Josh and Erica, IMO, isn't.
