GH: Who is about to return?

I also think it's very likely that Emily will come back alive. It's a lot easier to write back in a character who Helena Cassadine hates than any other kind of character. The writers long ago established that when Helena is involved, the normal rules don't apply. I wouldn't be shocked if it turns out Emily was given a Romeo & Juliet type of drug to make herself appear dead, or something of the sort.

Oh how I want this to be true!

Now come on....Brenda only toyed with Jax and Sonny. She may have dabbled a bit in the waters of Jasonland but Sam is just a slut plain and simple.

Brenda was funny, charming, and sexy.

Sam is just annoying, sick, and destructive.

I hope either Brenda or Emily comes back. It would make GH THAT much better.

Now that I've actually seen the commercial I noticed they said two of them are about to return. I think it was said awhile back that Anna was returning for another stint maybe with Noah to visit life after Eli. Or maybe she'll be part of the Robin's having a baby s/l. The other return is probably that GF was in a Hallmark movie. I think SOD or maybe SID impled that ALW was returning when what they meant was that she was returning to TV with her stint on The L Word. I wouldn't be surprised if by return they meant that someone had been cast in a tv show or movie.

And Brenda was a slut as well. When she came back to town, she was boinking Jax, daydreaming and salivating over Sonny or kissing him the same way she salivated on him for several painful years (I never saw the big thing in Sonny/Brenda. To me, they were an abusive couple, especially during the wire scene. He looked like he was going to beat her), and being married to Jason all at the same time, not to mention she was Lorenzo's mistress for four years and while being his Ho she still, I am sure, salivated over both Sonny and Jax.

Brenda, like Sam a former hooker, also has a past of manipulating men into sex (Miguel, Sonny, Jax, and wonder boy Jagger fit into this picture) and using it to her advantage. All she cared about was her bed hopping and making sure to give a couple of annoying giggles every now and then. I never found Brenda funny, charming, or sexy (VM is sexy but not Ms. Wraparound)...Brenda, like Sam, was annoying, egotistical, selfish, self centered, whiney, needy, bitchy, and a brat. I was thrilled when she went over the cliff and when Sonny and Jax dumped her lame ass at the altar.

Now some may say (not saying you) I hate Brenda because of Sonny and Carly. I hated Brenda before Carly came onto the scene..heck I hated Brenda before Sonny came on in 1993. I have always hated her and that will not change.

Id hardly call Brenda a slut. first off all, she was still in l;ove with two men - sonny and jax. and really, i dont blame her. there is something about those two men. (carly, alexis, sam, as well as others im sure have been there and donbe that with both as well). Those wire scenes were suposed to look that way, IMHO. her marriage to Jason was nothing more thna a plot point, so i dont see how that makes her a whore, and as for being Lorenzo's "mistress" you mean slave, right?

Now i will agree that Brenda was was annoying, egotistical, selfish, self centered, whiney, needy, bitchy, and a brat. However she also had a heart. she acted on what her heart was telling her to do. It was a rare thing what she did didnt have some kind of substance behind it. And yeah Brenda did sometimes use her sexuality to get what she wants - but if thats calling for a whore then who on daytime isnt a whore? really.

I undsertand your last part tho. Because up til Tams came on and gave Carly a heart a i hated that bitch. But then again, aside from with Brenda and Kate, i have always hated Sonny as well.

Id be so down for VM return as Brenda. Id even take Rebecca Budig in the role. But thats about it. Some people say Gina T. in the role, and i say they are crazy. but whatevs.

    • Yeah, not sure why Jack and Jen didn’t rush to Marlena - or even Carrie - to offer their condolences. A few flashbacks would've been a nice touch too. Instead, we got a whole episode of them talking about Chad and Abby? Come on. On the bright side, I loved Anna’s scenes with Marlena and Carrie - sweet and heartfelt, felt like a real 80s throwback.
    • Martin and Smitty were designed to avoid the stereotype of gay men sleeping around (which to an extent is true). If you recall Martin had a line about them not being open when Chelsea came to talk to him. The producers are walking a very fine line right now and it might not be popular to say but I can understand it. Establishing enough footing to ward off complaints will let them showcase gay characters more openly later.
    • The week was decent. They have started to rotate their stories and finally got a rhythm going. I disagree about them allowing every character to have a moment to shine though. Nicole really hasn't been given anything to do. I completely agree with all this. I adore Doug and hope he makes it through.

    • There was the one appearance in '96, but otherwise, that's correct as far as I know.

Question for the B&B group: I see @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded multiple seasons from Videoland  (in the folders that are to be put away). They are huge folders and difficult to download so I started breaking them down into months but I realized they are by season so for example, Season 4 spans from March 1990 to March 1991. Now I'm wondering where to actually place them, since we have the Full Episodes section divided by year, not seasons. And most of these seasons we already have in full, so these are duplicates. Not sure if it's necessary to keep the older versions. I could just make another new section for Seasons, so the main folders would be "Behind the Scenes and Interviews," "Clips," "Full Episodes," "Full Seasons," "Music CDs," and "photo archive Marquise" but I'm not sure that really makes sense. Also wondering since we have almost every full episode now if "Clips" can be deleted in its entirety, as it's nearly 300GB.
    • CBS moving Murder, She Wrote from Sunday to Thursday was straight up sabotage. Les Moonves knew exactly what he was doing.
    • I sure hope you’re right. The lack of sets is maddening!
