How does Leslie feel about being one of the few surving vets at GH, and what would be her ideal storyline for Monica?

Edit: Okay since soapsuds pretty much asked the same question how about: Does Leslie think Monica needs a new love interest and if she does who would she like it to be?

Leslie was fantastic during Monicas breast cancer storyline and was robbed of the Emmy that year.

The Emmy's were so in love with Erika Slezak portraying a million personalities back then...

Nice to know 90's GH is close to her heart because today's show surely doesn't hold a candle to what the show was...

That was the time I started watching; in the 90's

Claire Labines mid 90s take on GH is my favorite era of any soap opera she wrote for the entire canvas and it was fantastic. I hate that she left after a few years I can only imagine what great things she would have came up with for Monica and the rest of the Quartermaines.

Claire Labine's GH is my favorite era of GH too. The show was never better and Labine wrote with so much heart and care, something the show doesn't have anymore. If Labine didn't come in 93, GH would've died, I'm sure of that. It was really the only time GH was character driven too, something GH in particular isn't known for being. She absolutely loved the Quartermaine's and many of the family moments she wrote revolved around them. Such a shame to look at GH now, knowing what it used to be. The kids getting into GH today truly don't know how good this should could be.

Labine's GH was a perfect mixture of humor, drama, romance, social issues, and mystery - something you can't find on daytime anymore.
