It's official!! THE AMAZING RACE 12 will premiere on Sunday, November 4th at 8PM/7c.

"The Amazing Race 12" Spans 50,000 Miles Including First Time Visits to Ireland, Lithuania and Croatia

THE AMAZING RACE, winner of five consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Reality Competition Series, returns for its 12th edition on the CBS Television Network, Sunday, Nov. 4 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

"If there ever was a season that I consider one of the best, it's this one," said Bertram van Munster," executive producer, director and co-creator of THE AMAZING RACE. "It's insanely funny, fast-paced and dramatic all at once. Teams are in hot pursuit of one another at every location and its reality television at its nail-biting best."

This season, teams will travel approximately 50,000 miles, covering five new countries including Ireland, Lithuania and Croatia.

In its 11 previous editions, broadcast in several time periods, THE AMAZING RACE has averaged more than 10 million viewers and a 4.1/10 in adults 18-49.

Jerry Bruckheimer, Bertram van Munster, Jonathan Littman and Hayma Screech Washington are the executive producers for Bruckheimer Television and Earthview Inc. in association with ABC Television Studio and Amazing Race Productions. OMG! They'll travel through Croatia?!?!? Seriously?!? Wow! I have to watch that!

Ugh, I wish Lorena and her boyfriend had been eliminated instead of the sisters. That girl is shaping up to be another crybaby Flo. And Donald is coming across as a dirty old man. I wonder if Donald is the kid's biological grandfather or a step. I didn't call my grandparents by their first names. It was nice to see Christina's father admit what a jerk he was to her last show but he doesn't seem like the type to remember for long.

Still liking the "hippie" couple...

Is it just me or does it seem that the most annoying teams are dropping first? Then again, I find a lot of the teams this season fairly annoying. I feel for Christina, having to listen to her father's big mouth and criticisms.

Goths and hippies are cool. I'm glad the hippie couple won the trip to Japan. They seemed to really get a kick out of that.

I totally agree. I was rooting for Chris & Ron.. not TK and Rachel

I liked TK & Rachel. I was glad they won. Actually, this is the first season I can remember in a long time not disliking any of the 3 final teams, although Ron came close but he changed his ways. I would have been fine with any of the teams winning but I did favor TK & Rachel.
