 That's one of her acting quirks that I have never enjoyed, either. That, and saying someone's name a thousand times over.

Zach falls and hits his head. Kendall rushes to his side, "OMG! Zach? Are you okay? Zach? Zach? Wake up! Zach? Zach? Zach? Zach? OMG! Zach? Zach? Zach? Zach?"

Awww leave my Lishy alone :(

Today was a snoozefest *yawn* I just want Ryannie out of the Slater's house, that whole ish was pointless, they've barely been there a half a day since they moved in

I agree Angela they lost me on that, Hilliard having his license suspended years ago doesn't make him a quack if so Erica needs to hang up her microphone

This show is truly awful. I wonder sometimes, when they write and produce a television show like this, what the execs think when it shows up on air. Do they think that Ava is an entertaining character to watch? Do they think that we want ANOTHER story about a sick baby? And what stories did B&E come up with, that lead them to get the job? ugh

I like Wes too--almost despite myself... He's sorta the direction I think Del shoulda been. I HOPE they screentested new Babe with him but we'll see... (I avoid spoilers so have no idea what the Graiden thing is and don't wanna know :P)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I liked today's show--nothing great but it kept me pretty interested throughout. While admitteldy obvious I liked how they brought Greenlee and Aiden and the locket into the Annie storyline--it's that kinda soap overlapping storytelling that used to ALWAYS happen and lately writers seem to forget about.

I hope this isn't the last we see of Dr Hilliard though....

(And I do have to say that I'm kinda annoyed that B&E seem as baby obssessed as McTavish's last stint was--I can remember huge years of AMC when I became hooked in the 90s with no babies on screen :P We don't have to take the title so literally)

Oh but I do think Erica's reaction to Hilliard was 100% in character personally

AMEN! I don't understand either how Dr. Hilliard is supposedly a "quack" just because he believes in alternative medicine and/or lost his license for prescribing himself drugs before his stint at Betty Ford. It makes no sense.

As for the rest of the show, imo, there has been way too much Greenlee/Aiden lately, who are yet another dull couple, and Ava has become as overrated as Babe. They seriously wasted an entire Adam/JR conversation on her!?!?

I enjoyed the JR/Adam conversation regardless but do kinda agree. I actually KINDAAAA like Greenlee and Aiden but what gets me is her and Josh showed WAY more instant and interesting chemistry and have a more interesting dynamic seeing as he's technically a Kane and yet that was dropped. Still maybe this is their last chance effort with Aiden Turner--who is still one of my fave tv crushes but the man really, as much as this pains me to say, has proven over and over again that he just doesn't work or have the itnerest to be a leading man... Still this pairing up has me *somewhat* interested--just annoyed when I much prefered Josh

As for the quack thing--come on this is almost all cuz Erica knew Greenlee was involved--it's typical Erica grandstanding and perfectly in character (I just found for a buck the 1997 book "by Erica Kane" Having it All and while it's pretty sligth I'm having fun reading through the chapters and her self help advice...)

    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
    • You've been seeing him all along. You just didn't know it was him, I guess.

    • Where to for Dana? She's pissed off the Duprees (most of the cast), alienated her daughter and will she be welcomed by the Have Nots at the diner? Maybe she can befriend Ashley and Derek and liven up their story.
    • Melissa Ordway announced she was moved to recurring back in November but is still credited with the contract cast members.
    • I think of Evan as a smarmy bast*rd. Maybe you'll like that description. You certainly have him pegged correctly since he is just a soldier following "Admiral" Iris's marching orders.
    • So far the only interest I've seen from Evan to Amanda has been listening to Iris's orders to go and seduce her.  So far he hasn't been successful... but who knows. Amanda is unbearable at times. Entitled, spoiled... idiotic. Iris... so blatantly manipulating her and Amanda takes the bait. But I guess... when she gets in trouble... she'll have a chance to learn. That's what makes these shows so interesting.    Oh, no, don't worry. You haven't ruined a thing. Evan has not been on my radar that much... he was not one of the characters I was caring particularly... so nothing much has been changed for me. I don't think he has the stuff to ruin Rachel's life. He's just a pretty guy that can follow orders. Iris on the other hand... is dangerous.

P.S Maybe Evan will surprise me. Who knows.
    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
    • So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
