Y&R: Is LML copying the tumor story from AMC?

I can already see the storylines on Y&R during the next year:

-Another person or two will almost end up in prison.

-Two-three people will be either killed or we'll get an unwanted recast.

-Gloria will bury two more husbands.

well it could be worse you could wake up one day and watch your show and find that Katherine is possessed by the devil, and her maid is now into tarrot cards....and then half the town is cleared out to make room for characters nobody cares about who are featured ever day! oh wait you can tune into days for that crap!

Many LML watchers have commented about her recycling her own stories, particularly from Knots Landing, and showcasing them on Y&R. One of the major ones was the senate race b/w Jack & Nikki. A character on KL ran to became a politician.

Is LML fresh out of ideas- burnt out? Is she just lazy? Or is she writing what she's told to write from CBS and/or SONY?
