Y&R: The Consequences Of Firing Your In-House DR Team

How will it influence Y&R if those trademark Y&R directors go and work for Days? Will it have a huge impact in terms of the visual identity of the soap? And do you think the new directors they bring in will push their own style or will they be loyal to what Y&R stands for (even if it's in shatters right now)? Or even better - what it stood for?

Even if they do, most dont know about who's writing the show and dont follow all of that internet stuff and have already left the show, and I think they are gone for good. To answee your question, yeah it would be reminicent of Y&R because they really aren't going to be bringing Y&R like directing to DAYS, it's their directing. They took it to Y&R and they'll take it to DAYS.

I now see I was ambiguous - but this time ambiguity turned out to be good.

I meant how will the departure influence Y&R, but you can talk about the influence Y&R directors will have on Days. :)

oops. Well to answer your real question, as much as I hate to admit it, I dont think it will hurt Y&R one bit. Those guys are going strong even with these people gone. DAYS isn't changing, good directors or not.
