TV Guide Soaps

I don't subscribe to TV Guide anymore, but when I go on TVguide.com and click on the soap section, all there is is recaps of all the soaps. What happened to all the news? I know somebody who wrote about the soaps left recently, but why is there no news/scoops - at all?

Daniel claimed that he had someone lined up to take his place, but apparently there wasn't. He left TVGuide for SOAPnet abruptly, without two weeks notice.

I kinda feel bad for TVG.

Coleridge was pretty useless anyway. His soap coverage consisted of sporadic interviews pimping his faves. Most of his "scoops" were lifted from other sources.

I don't. They must have had a short list of contenders for the job before hiring him. Maybe one of those people is available. Half the people using this board could do the job. Someone could have been found by now.

There really is no difference concerning TVGuide.com

The soap section was a sad laugh with Cloeflidge and now it's just shut down. Too bad but the decline was enormous since the previews JOURNALIST left/was fired...
