Awww - wish Opal and Marian weren't carted off as quickly as they came on. Oh well - it was fun while it lasted!

I actually have to question what Annie just said. She said that Ryan is finally getting what he deserved - a woman who will love him unconditionally and not deceive him (or whatever). I'm sorry - but it was Greenlee back in '05 who was by his side and wanted him unconditionally - and it was RYAN who f'ed all that up. Ryan didn't deserve Greenlee after the [!@#$%^&*] he put her through. So Annie has her facts wrong...but yeah, I'm over the "Ryan loves me" fight anyway.

LMAO - Kudos to Leven Rambin! She pulled off Ava-as-Lily perfectly! Only David Canary could do it this well. I loved the wig, and the counting by prime numbers. The key is slightly being able to tell it's Ava, but feel like you're somewhat watching Lily - and she did it perfectly. She definitely has both characters down perfectly now IMO.

JR: "So you trust me?"

Adam: "Hell NO I don't. But you're all I've got, aren't you?"

:D

Oh Erica Kane!!!!!!!!! Go ahead with your sexy gorgeous DIVA self! Wow she looked hot in that hat, glasses, and outfit!

LMFAO at Kendall and Ava. That was some funny [!@#$%^&*] watching Kendall try and get Ava to fix her hair by bending over and doing the 'swoop'. Too bad Ryan had to interrupt that scene - I'm wondering if Kendall has caught on. Anyway, by far my favorite Alicia Minshew/Leven Rambin scene ever!

Erica in a different outfit! LOL! :D

Levin is doing a great job potraying Ava as Lily. All that Prime Numbers. Until Kendell told her to move her hair. LOL :D

LMAO! "Everyone loves a good square root." - The Kendall/Ava scenes had me literally laughing out loud. "Wait, 4.2? That can't be..." Then she realizes it's Ava as Greenlee/Annie storm in demanding that each of them be fired. Absolutely hysterical.

Awww, Adam/Krystal as the camera pans to "The Comeback", then fades to black. I could totally get into an Adam/Krystal coming back together storyline if done right. Their breakup was absolutely intense and emotional - very well done.

Yesterday and today was absolutely my fav. episodes of the week.

I'm just happy with the end of the week. Wednsday,Thursday, and Fridays epi were good and watchable! Thank goodness. I think if AMC continues to go on this streek where theres more balance and better stories and think they will be able to rebound in the ratings. I also do not want Greenlee on every minute and every hour!! I hope B&E can really make AMC better!

Im hating Zach and Kendall! The Bitch and teh Bastard. They are even worse today than yesterday. I want them to SUFFER big time. Seriously, I hope they feel some major pain in the near future and I hope Adam is there to stand around and laugh at their misery. I know I will

Meh I am totally loving Zach and Kendall going after the Chandlers. The Chandlers aren't untouchable to me so if Zen want to stick it to them I say go Zen! Plus giving what is coming up for them(Zen), I farking welcome this 'evilness'.

Well - I'm torn. I thought Zach was over the mean, malevolent, greedy deeds now that he is happy with Kendall and has Spike. But on the other hand, I totally am rooting for them to finally gain revenge over JR's almost killing Kendall/Spike and just overall being a mean billy badass to their family. Unfortunately Adam, Colby, and Little A (who I'm assuming will be leaving with Babe, so may not be a big deal) are caught in the middle - and it's those characters that don't really deserve this at all. Adam especially - he's been shitted on all year.

Zach is being dirty, but I'm loving the fact that someone else gets to play this role for awhile. I hated what JR did to Kendall and the way he rubbed it in her face after the fact. I think this is all being played for humor and isn't going anywhere horrible, so I'm not too worried about my Chandlers boys. JR needs to be put in his place, and if the end result is JR and Adam allied to get back their company? I love it.

When Adam told Josh "You couldn't have his wife, so you went after his company instead", I so wanted Josh to reply "I already had his wife. Twice." Oh, that would've been good.

Today was hilarious. I'm going to enjoy the light stories while I can because I know what's coming and my pretty pretty Slaters will be taking a tumble as they always do, lol.

    • To their credit, the new writers are clever to stick to current events from the time they were taping, versus trying to predict current events at the time the episode airs.  Case in point, Susan and questionable choice to hop on a cruise two days after her son was shot, and the case remains unsolved, so her remains at risk...

Although cruises around the world are not uncommon for Salem citizens like Julie, it seemed like the type of reference DOOL continues to like dropping into scripts for humor. Also, help me understand the Marlena and EJ interaction.  Didn't they come to a mutual détente earlier in the week?  I felt gaslighted, but I could've just as easily misunderstood Marlena's earlier talk to Belle, and then EJ. And is Bo in Boston (near Ceara) or Greece (where he was transferred after he was shot)?  I bet it is expensive to fly a coma patient transatlantically!
    • It was one of the bigger disappointments that Sarah wasn't part of the book.
    • They clearly loved her offcamera. I wish I could appreciate her work more, but...I don't. Thanks for telling me what Levin said at the end. I still don't think Carney was bad, but I guess he would always see them as not shining compared to Kate.
    • Around 2002, when I would have killed Alan, I'd bring back Amanda, who would have a love/hate relationship with Philip mirroring Alan and Alex, I'd have a proper Alex recast, I might bring back Alan-Michael (and maybe Hope or Mike on recurring), and I'd bring in a long-lost son for Philip who would be around his late teens or early twenties.  I agree that Philip would still need a rival. That's where giving Roger another long-lost kid (not Sebastian) could have worked in this timeframe.
    • @ranger1rg @DemetriKaneI was sure I was swimming upstream alone on this. I get that they are all proud to be Duprees, but the writers are just overplaying it. Ted's an ass, but presumably, he's been a model husband for the last 25 (?) years...but he just isn't good enough (or can handle or whatever..) a Dupree woman? *cough* I guess the next "shocker" is whatever Vernon and Anita's secret is. I hope it's something a little more original than him cheating on Anita.
    • Yes, that was probably to he case. In  the book, after Malcolm Groome (Pat) said he dated Kathleen Tolan,  he said he saw her theater work and found her to be  "compelling and charismatic actress"  In one of Ilene Kristen's many video interviews promoting the book, she also praised Kathleen.
    • David knowing Burke was going to die and making sure to say goodbye to him was very unnerving. Some of the last moments where David Henesy's otherworldly vibes from those first few years are put to good use. I agree that the few months right before 1795 are excellent. They do a great job with building suspense and going through insane twists.  DS was never going to be able to have a long run anyway, with the high burnout rate and a number of principal cast not likely to stay, but I do wonder what might have been if they had done a better job with the present day after the return from 1795.
    • Off of the Xander/Paulina scenes in Thursday's episode, I really hope that means we're getting Theo coming home permanently. I didn't really see much of Cameron Johnson in the role, and though he was pretty and I'm thankful for his occasional thirst traps on Insta, Kyler Pettis could not act, so a brand new recast would be fine by me, but if you all think Cameron doesn't a real shot, I'd be fine with that, too. I just want Theo to be taken seriously as a character for once and make his place on this show like he deserves. I was annoyed the second Susan showed up again, but I do admit it was interesting to see her reunite with Marlena and see their dynamic when EJ joined them. Hopefully now we're done with her forever. As for John, this last bit of hope Marlena is getting before the inevitable is already so devastating. This is going to be so hard to watch. Xander reminding the audience he IS a cold blooded murderer, point blank. Paul Telfer was devilishly terrifying. Taking off his jacket was such a sexy power move. That Philip doesn't have a permanent dent in his face will be a miracle. It'll be interesting if it'll just be the one punch or if next week will see Philip more battered and bruised. How bad are they going to make Xander look? I will say, the best part of this story is that I'm not rooting for one over the other. How Philip reacts to this violence will be interesting. I also liked how everything with stealing the drug ended up. Very messy. Steve even made me laugh at one point, and I've been indifferent to him for years. I hope poor Kevin doesn't get scapegoated, but it'll be nice to see him presumably reunite with Shawn next. We'll be really lucky if Belle somehow crosses paths with him, too.
    • I've really been enjoying seeing him/Smitty interact with other actors/characters
    • She didn't want a hotel room; doubt she's going to want the apartment room, either. There was no reason to re-arrange the other one. This was the most logical move.
