So what happened with Rick & Mindy? I take it they weren't supposed to be a forever couple?

Well during the whole Mindy/Phillip/Beth/Rick quadrangle, Mindy still had her sights set on Phillip and became pregnant with his baby. Rick wanted to marry her, but the truth would soon come out. They tried testing the waters a little down the road in the early 90s. When Rick wanted to marry her she turned him down and chose the nefarious Roger Thorpe who was married to Alex. So yeah they weren't really forever couple material.

I know what you mean, Michael...I wasn't expecting to like yesterday's episode but I really enjoyed it. And the previews look interesting as well. Lillian asking Buzz out? Can't miss that!

I was pleasantly surprised that they had a scene like this on "the hip new younger GL" and even showed it in the previews. I'm not all that surprised that they are pairing Buzz up with somebody, but hooking pairing Lillian with somebody? This woman hasn't gotten any since...Ed Bauer? That was back in 1992. It's a shame that she has not been paired with anybody since then or been given a storyline like that, Tina Sloane is such a gem.
